Now maybe I'm just overthinking it, but if Ben has to be the one to Grant Deku access to use any alien that he does not currently have and obviously nezu knows this then why not let him know that you might have a way to help find out who broke into the school, transform into Clockwork the chronosapien and Rewind time so at least that way they would know what shigaraki looks like?
