Because he's the smartest, most athletic and most skilled player on the floor at all times
Skilled is debatable. He is not as skilled as Kevin durant on offense and not as skilled as kawhi on defense. The lebron dickridng needs to stop. This whole video is an embarrassment. You cannot just qualify yourself as a psychologist and give lebron a photographic memory.
LeBron probably the most athletic player next to Wilt Chamberlain. Also great passing and it's just hard to guard him from getting to the rim.
Although he is a little overrated because he literally doesn't play defense unlike guys like Kawhi, who is almost as good offensively.
thats y he went to south beach lol
Athletic?
@@youre100right3 i dont get it. What do people mean by the most athletic
Divinely built for basketball. Size, strength, power, memory, IQ, cares about his teammates on the floor, (even to a fault at times) and it goes on. Pretty amazing.
Jay Kelz 🙌
Jay Kelz GOAT
King James knows he can drop 50 every game but management says his guys to earn their money lmao
Jay Kelz Hit the nail on the head. Being a team player has hindered his career at times, but he will never change in that respect. He's been a team player all the way back to his high school days. Just imagine his stats if he was a ballhog like some of the past greats.
his passing elevates the team
I love how people on here just will not mentally accept how great LeBron is. Old players, new players, and fans alike are just stunned and always become negative when LeBron is out here making media pundits and detractors alike look stupid.
Bale Nadakuitavuki what's their to accept? Or are you trying to make true fans and observers join your prisoner of the moment bandwagon? Please let's stay with facts. No other great needed more than one all star and a few role players to win. But lebron only won by having two active superstars on his roster and get this. His role players currently are 80% proven previous all star vets. Let's not forget that he plays in a conference where the Boston celtics are the number 1 seed. Seriously put things into perspective before you try to criticize or disrespect others logical reasons in why they consider atleast 5 more better than him and atleast 10 that achieved more with less.
No one is denying he is great. And the best in the league right now. But don't disrespect the past accomplishments and try to downgrade their moments just to try to heighten lebrons status. Cuz in comparison he isn't the greatest. Simple and factual.
Adam Green I am not diminishing the past achievements of old players, but simply stating factual evidence of where his greatness is in comparison to past players. I have perspective of the Jordan era, the Magic vs Bird era and beyond. I am a student of the history of basketball and as such I am not here "living in the moment" and being prisoner of ESPN highlights etc etc. Simply put LeBron is great. It is not his fault that the East is weak, that the number one seed are the celtics, that he is smart enough to understand the winning a championship is above just one superstar. Did Jordan not start winning when Pippin joined the team? Can you imagine how much weightier your argument would be if he did not have 3 rings, if he failed to keep making the finals again, and again and again...
Imagine him being christened and not living up to the HYPE...
I've heard all the arguments (put him in the west and then see what happens, lets how he plays without superstar help blah, blah blah) from fans, media pundits, haters and lovers alike and because of that perspective in my mind he is top 5. I'm not here to discredit your comment, or anyone else's comments because everyone is entitled to an opinion. But what I have a problem with are opinions that are not backed up with facts so please do not confuse me for a sickofantic "fanboy". I am just a man, enjoying the greatness before time calls his number.
@@nightriderrr most of
Your argument was not factual at all? You’re being hypocritical with what if’s and MJ needed other superstars to win as well. No one person wins a championship with an all star ⭐️ on their team.
Who ever thought J.R. Smith would be a NBA Champ before Melo?
Two words: The King
Dr0pkidd Give Lebron two snickers he makes them nba champions too.
Dr0pkidd J.R found a leader, someone who's put some discipline in his game.
Dr0pkidd FACTS to all! 😊
kwesikum melo was supposed to be that leader
Best player in the league.
Andy Puente water is wet
Andy Puente sky is blue
Andy Puente grass is green
*Best player ever
Andy Puente best team player ever
LBJ will go down as the GOAT
Maybe, but he surely does look like a goat!
Brently Howell the goat at forming super teams?
NYG Man Joe it's not like he is being carried like others but he's is without a doubt the best player on that team they are awful without him
NYG Man Joe what you think he can do it all by himself, beat the warriors all by himself. No one can win finals all by themselves look at a.i even as good as he is he still couldnt do it. Even mj or kobe didnt do it on their own.
L
LeBron is the smartest player of all time.
VaderDaBeast I think that title still belongs to Magic. He's a close second though
VaderDaBeast you mean smartest hall of famer? I'm sure there have been smarter players
@@JM-xm3yy na
Paul was so salty listening to her intro ABOUT Bron!!! HAHAHA
Funny how people are complaining about ESPN making videos about LeBron, yet it's those same people who will come on a LeBron-Based video, and spread hate on the comments section. Listen buffoons, at the end of the day, if you're clicking ESPN's video, even if its about LEBRON, then they're doing their jobs well lmao.
xRetroKidxx96 while they say LeBron fans are dick riders but do the same to Jordan lol
Honestly speaking, the most overlooked difference between Lebron in the playoffs and regular season is his defense not his offense. People love to keep pointing how Lebron should win MVP every season but never mention how Lebron could also be a DPOY candidate every season with his playoff defense.
DPOY is a regular season award. How does post season defense make you a a good regular season defender? There's 82 games in the regular season. If you play lackluster defense in all of them, sure, you'll be able to play better defense in the post season.
play offs LBJ is locking everyone down at 32 and thats just the truth.
So lebron is a genius and one of the best athletes of all time? GOAT
So lebron has photographic memory? Damn this dude so smart and so athletic at the same time
LeBron is the GOAT
Mikey is Biased
you must be 12
Adam Leon I've watched both their careers. LBJ is better
U must be a 50 year old that cant give up the past
Trent Irvin
LeBron definitely doesn't have the better career. Dumbaas
Cheetoz PLAYS
"Cheetoz PLAYZ"
Lol 12 yearold
This man is scary. You look at his build his speed his strength his photographic memory all put together in one. Damn this man was put together by God to be great at basketball. Lebron truly is The Chosen One
The Genius, period
Love you guys. Lotta insight on Lebron there. Dude's brilliant. Look at how well he manages his life. A lot to learn there.
paul pierce i hated you as a player, cause you broke my heart by beating my lakers. but man you are an awesome broadcaster! didn't expect you to be so articulate and well spoken! keep up the good work man!
This didn’t age well
He's so good because he is the most efficient he's ever been. He was 54% from the field with Miami, now he's 56%. He can hit freeze up 3s from every spot. He can score whether he's fast or slow on post ups. LeBron is playing ambidextrous with his floaters and jump hooks. James is getting more rebounds and assists than he was. Guys don't really score on him that often and those chase down blocks are impressive. His free throw percentage went from the 70s to the 80s right now..like 73% to 84% now.
Beautiful Mind...
Don't compare Lebron and Jordan. Jordan was a legend and Lebron is carrying that legacy of legendary performance. So people sit down and appreciate the greatness. Jordan was the past thing and Lebron is the present. And Lebron will pass his legacy to the next generation.
jordan was better...period
Kelly Olynyk already spent much of Game 1 yanking on the arms of both Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson. When he came on the court in the fourth quarter, the Cavs promptly pulled their entire starting lineup.
Yeah, I think the Cavs are expecting things to get "chippy" out there.
Few years later. He's still the best player and there's no father time
Who's ready to watch the NBA Finals between the CAVS and Warriors!? I'm picking the CAVS in 5-6 games. 💯
If Curry and KD dont choke Warriors are definitely winning it
Andy K but you see curry will choke. I don't think KD will but curry will or curry could play good and KD bad cus of the pressure he's gonna face but someone will choke on that team
Juan Gonzalez L
Self Made Trillin you are the queen of taking L's
+Self Made Trillin Have you not given up on Trolling yet? Seriously, you should've been gone after last years Finals.
It's been 4 years since this and Lebron still dominates
I'm telling you right now, give Kyle Korver credit for helping LeBron with his shooting technique. It's evident that his stance is a little different and he's been on a tear from deep! But asides from his shooting, he's upped his game in this postseason, and that is due to his conditioning and him using the technological resources available to him in this day & age. #BronBoutToWinHisForthRingInSix
The muthafucking GOAT.
Wait till my son get in the NBA.
Cause he is 6-8 260 jumps through the gym roof. Shoots 56% from the field amd 43% from 3 pt land. Best passer on his team amd in the league smartest player in the league. And is easily top 5 in everything else rebounds steals blocks ect during the playoffs when it matters. Its been 14 yrs of this shit guys. Are we seriously still asking this shit? Just watch him play. You dont really need some media douche to explain why he is the best. He just simply is just sit back and enjoy the greatness while it lasts
im 21 and have watched basketball for the majority of my life an its hard to imagine someone being better then lebron
Eidetic memory is unlikely.... But he is a student of the game and it all goes back to the adage that says the way you practice/train is the way you'll perform.....
This video is still applicable in 2018 playoffs
No doubt he's good but the small ball era makes him unstoppable. With shooters at every position around him he and Kyrie just have to go 1 on 1 to get to the basket and if you help that's where the knockdown shooters come in. Very hard to stop.
damn is he a robot
Easy. He is very smart without making a bad context for his IQ.
He handpicks teammates and the team he will go to.
He dominates the ball to get the assist stats while minimizes ball movement.
He doesn't okay defense to get the rebound.
He creates mismatches by being on the point being guarded by smaller point guards like Westbrook, Paul, Curry and IT.
He blames his teammates and management but the media won't be calling him out.
ESPN and SC plays his highlights and makes comparisons to MJ which whom is a shooting guard not a small forward.
He stayed in the East when before dominating superteam like the Warriors or Spurs now transferred in the West when the Warriors bench is in trouble and the Spurs are aging. Kawhi left to the East.
Lebron James is a phenomenal player. A generational one. Will never ever be another one like him
surprised you didn't mention the custom handshakes. lol. #goat
I feel like the title is a stupid thing to ask.
King Coopa J not really, the video did a good job explaining his mental level on the court and how he's good because he remembers past games
+ hoody hoo I have a NBA Debate video dropping about his MVP candidacy later today. I discuss a little more about this subject. You should sub to my channel and check it out.
King Coopa J I will brotha
I love the king ..but this is blowing his ass
photographic memory LOL
Face it. Love him or hate him, Lebron is the best overall athlete of modern times. Maybe ever. He could probably dominate at any sport he chose. The only NBA player in history that could play all 5 positions at a HOF level.
mj can never be replaced he is a mt Rushmore athlete
Bringing Korver to the team must've really given him the boost in shooting.
It did, but the Cavs were already ridiculously good from 3-point range: The Cavs have 6 players that shoot over 40% from 3, and 5 of the other 7 can shoot at least 33% from deep. Basically, if you give the Cavs the perimeter, they'll drop a record number of 3's on you. If you give the Cavs the paint, then they'll blow by you for dunks and lobs.
10 hrs later IT scores 2 points 😂😂
so..... hes juster smarter than everyone
That Matrix thing was the best!
Before the playoffs I thought for sure Warriors will win the championship but I think the Cavs-Warrior series will be a really good series.
Athletes in all sports, keep getting better and better. Speed and strength records are getting broken all the time. Things are being done that athletes of the past would have said were impossible. People want to romanticize that “their" era was the greatest and that their favorite player from said era, is the goat and nobody will ever be better, but the truth of the matter, is athletes are always getting better. Saying that athletes in todays era couldn't compete with past eras, is just stupid and is driven by emotion and opinion, instead of facts.
That IT poster hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Because he 6'8 250 and puts in hard work..anyone will be good if they put in hard work
the GOAT! and when he beats that team that has not 2, not 3, but 4 all stars on it, he will be the Undisputed GOAT!
simple Answer ... his genes . Little do people know LeBron dad played high school basketball. LeBron is playing just like his dad slashing Physical play of basketball. I'm calling it rn before LeBron "Bronnie "James Junior gets in the league, he probably be better than his dad!!!
GG GG Huh???
L
I can do all those things too. Nothing too special. I didn't even realize it wasn't how everyone remembered things until I was an adult.
I honestly feel other teams barring the GSW are too weak to defeat Cavs. That's one of the reasons why Lebron has been shining , of course with a team mate like Kyrie his team becomes unstoppable.
I find it amusing how journalists make comments about what an athlete is thinking, even though that they and nobody else have no way of proving it.
He's from OHIO
All of the Nba had to adjust to the 3 pt line because of curry
#Factz
button that shirt Pierce
Did Paul Pierce say that game 2 was going to be a more physical game? Wrong again Paul. Wrong again.
Watching this in 2023. Father time has nothing on Lebron...AKA the GOAT
LeBron has more confidence in his three point ability when you respect his jump shot rather than when you disrespect it.
it's the hair... and the shoes
so can't they get bigger?
Is this like the show everyone jumps on when they get eliminated from the playoffs? lol
lmao Pierce and Conley were so mad to hear Rachel talk like that for LeBron lmaooo
Some people say MJ is the goat which I believe he has been and yeah he has 6 rings and we know his record in the finals but LeBron is a more overall player in every way and doesn’t look to be slowing down at all.
They are just letting him score. Every Time he runs to the basket, its like they are clearing the way for him. They give him all the space so he can charge at them. They are letting him spin the ball in his hands. They are letting him turn his back to them. They are letting him dribble the ball real slow right in their face. They are letting him. All these teams are laying down. Not one team has actually tried to defend him seriously. I'm pretty sure hes the biggest and strongest on the court, that don't mean hes the best. he just imposes his strength on all these smaller players. I would've like to see kawhi on him but that's not gonna happen.
Lebron is really lucky that most of his competition has no heart or skill.
I love that the haters point to Lebron possibly being on steroids. It's the ultimate compliment. You're basically saying he is so good that it isn't humanly possible.
Skip should be listening on this and be educated
LeBron is one of those special dudes who we’ll never realize how great he could’ve been, not even talking basketball, he probably could’ve cured cancer if he had a stable up bringing and some one made him take schooling seriously but I guess we’ll never know
LOL the media is seriously skipping past how bad the east is. It's almost pathetic, LBJ is a top 5 player nobody can ever deny that. But why are we glossing over how bad his conference has been since KG and Pierce left the celtics? Lol shit is crazy. He's had no rivals since the celtics died and went to area 21
LEGOAT 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Well when you have players like the cavs do all on one team, tf you expect 😂😂🤷🏾♂️
This nigga so athletically gifted and genius, no one will ever be able too guard him. The only one that can stop him is Lebron himself, like in the 11 finals, when he was mentally off
Iguodala is 35, and won a finals mvp locking down lebron, forcing him to shoot with terrible percentages. Plenty of people can guard lebron. Stop it.
Bron has played 14 seasons, 12 of those beyond GOAT and one and a half step below God. He will never be as good as God but he is above GOAT, like the Big "O" said he is in a class by himself.
miss my man Paul Pierce with Celtics 😞
Because he is the king
That is Amazing!
LBJ = GOAT
thats the thing with LBJ. he isn't only an athletic freak of nature. he's a fucking genius.
He's in the east
No no no the problem is he is in the league nigga he is dominating everyone
2013 Finals
Antwan Lee 2013 aint happen??? And youre acting like he wasnt shooting above 50% from the field and the 3 in 2014
The Christiano Ronaldo of basketball. No matter how hard or how many times they win they will always be hated.
It's because he sacrificed his hairline to the basketball gods in exchange for basketball skill
Loved it
He's good, because he's a humble ass man!
guess Kawhi has this x2 because Lebron hasn't figured out how to beat him, and Kawhi knows how to keep him under control, even when he (Kawhi) was a rookie lol
What will espn be without LeBron ?
for which club lebron plays for?
Lebron must remember that 2011 finals really well
Actually forcing LeBron to shoot threes still work, remeber game one even though they won, and a dominant one he shoot 1/6 beyond the arc
he is good because he joined the conference competition.
Because his teammate are so good, Bruh!
The best player in the world.
G.O.A.T 🐐
👑🐐
LeBron the goat but it's a team game.
the difference between 32 and 35 is much much bigger than 27 and 30, the dude will get old and soon so make the most of these last few prime years. The mind can only compensate so much for the loss of athletic ability eventually it all falls apart..
Carl Wehden LeBron takes better care of himself Than probably any athlete in history. bet he plays till he's like 42.
Well he is doing pretty well now
he's great but lets see if he can beat the warrior's with durant.
he good bc all the east teams are not good like the west. if the cavs played the west it would be more competitive for them...
I didn't know he had a photographic memory. No wonder it looks like he knows what the other team is thinking before they even think it.
He doesn't. They just made this up. He has a good memory. Photographic memory? Absolutely not.
Who needs a goat when you got a Shepard
So what hair style is mike conley rockin?
Jimmie Rustler a side tapeup with a blow out nudred.
It wad going to be a physical game they said... 130-86 for Cavs 😂
fo fo fo fo cavs go back to back
It's lebrons destiny 😏😏😏
i miss rachel on espn
