Bethesda never has a demo. There games are usually too big for you to get a feel for them in a short time.

Agree with you buddy the showcase was more then enough for me to get wet for this game. Plus! we have the law of averages on our side this time too. We had 2 potatoes in F76 and Redfall. The trend canât and wonât continue here, this is make or break for them for good! This game will be polished and as bug free as it possibly could be with these delays and extra time.

Also..Am I the only person on the planet that has enjoyed f76? Lol Iâve got screenshots of bugged out ghouls that still make me chuckle when I look at them⊠but to this day I still enjoy the game from time to time.

I agree and disagree with both of you. Iâve been a Bethesda fan for a long time. Honestly, so far, I donât feel like theyâve screwed me over one bit. Iâve enjoyed every Bethesda experience that Iâve taken part in. Also, I canât wait to play spiderman2 with my 7yo! I was watching videos about it yesterday and questioning in my head if I could justify making content for that game on this channel since venom is an alien. From space. đ

Unfortunately my pc isn't able to run Starfield, it's a 2011 machine and just too old for stuff like this. I really want the game so will wait a further 6 months or so until Christmas when I've hopefully saved enough money for a new pc and in the meantime watch how it develops.
Youâll probably actually see the best version of the game that way tbh. Hopefully any hiccups that the developers have will hopefully be patched out by then.

As I said in another comment⊠I honestly canât think of an experience with Bethesda where I felt like they let me down. Iâve enjoyed their games as far back as oblivion.

Well the only thing I have to say to that is its Bethesda it's not Activision or Ubisoft Bethesda actually knows how to make a game correctly but we'll see if they're lying or not..

This game definitely looks interesting but I seriously wish Bethesda would just make a fallout new Vegas 2, or at least let another company make the game like the first new Vegas. Iâd seriously bet my life if Bethesda did that and made the game just single player or co op, not like fallout 76 at all, than new Vegas 2 would be the best selling game of the year if not all time bc most peoples favorite fallout is new Vegas and so many people want that game to become reality.

I think it will probably be at least Skyrim level good. But it will likely be a buggy ass mess.
Unless MS helped them in their latest fork to optimize and tune Gamebryo v4 or v5 whatever the heck it is now. Even integrating all of the other pieces that they're using or replaced. I hope the MS acquisition was a good thing for them. I've always had a lot of love for Bethesda. It started to fade at Fallout 4 being very linear. Fallout 76 was a complete mess but with a good group of people I had a blast playing that trash game.
I thought I read that MS had every QC person they had on starfield. I think we will be ok.
Honestly, when has Bethesda ever release a bugless game at launch? They literally depend on modders to make their games fun.
Itâs rare for anyone to release a completely bug-less game at launch these days. However⊠The game that built Bethesda for me was Oblivion. If I recall correctly, I played that game on a non internet connected Xbox. I didnât have patches or mods. Come to think of it and if I am being honest⊠Iâve never used any mods on a Bethesda game at all.

This is such an interesting time, just before a big game (under heavy exposure restrictions) is about to release, where some people see the red flags and know something's up, yet others hold out hope despite seeing those same red flags!
I suppose we'll know soon enough and no amount of speculation will change the outcome, I just wish people would stop lying about these types of games (Starfield, Fallout 76, Cyberpunk 2077, Crackdown 3, Anthem etc.) up to launch (or at the very least stop lying to themselves!).
Damage control is not healthy for anyone involved and lessens the integrity of the industry every time it happens. Very sad! đ
I understand what youâre saying. Honesty would go a long way in those situations. I feel that everytime a developer gets away with that it lowers the bar across the board.
The truth is⊠we donât know anything yet. I do expect starfield to have some bugs. And within reason I believe that itâs fair to give them time to iron those out. Only time will tell.

I see so many channels on this platform being dishonest about what is happening now regarding the lack of marketing around Starfield. Illogical excuses being made for the lack of public presence at Gamescom 2023, mere days before Starfield's so-called early access release.
No websites with exclusive hands on previews, no announcement of the game having gone gold, no review embargo details, and no uncut demonstration of Starfield's gameplay content loop. This is all a giant red flag!
This is in stark contrast to Balder's Gate 3 which has been in Early Access since October 2020!! Fans have not only been able to SEE uninterrupted gameplay, but they could actually PLAY the game themselves - for nearly 3 years!
Transparency from Larian vs. opacity from Bethesda Softworks. This reminds me so much of Cyberpunk 2077's secrecy and restrictions pre-launch back in 2021. People tried to sound the alarm (but we're accused of being haters/fanboys), that showing curated PC only footage (no console) and refusing to let reviewers even use their own capture for their reviews was a bad sign and clearly telegraphed the terrible state the game was in.
Why is this happening again - even after Redfall? Why hasn't the community learned its lesson?
Iâm just a dude whoâs excited about a game and Iâm presenting my prediction. Could I be wrong? Yes, Iâm actually wrong A LOT! đ
I really see that as being as honest as I possibly can be. I canât speak for anyone else. This game could be a massive flop and the biggest disappointment in all of gaming.
The bright side is⊠weâll all know soon enough!

This better not be Fallout 4 with a new coat of pain and ENB slapped onto it. That game has a STINK that no matter how much mod you put into it, it still can't change for the better. Still the same shitty artificial gun play with the exact same recoil with edited stats. It is MEANINGLESS the more you try to mod it. The core game is unenjoyable boring slogg fest. The modded game is always broken in mysterious ways, regardless you follow all these "guide" to the T.
Bottomline is, it already LOOKS like FO4.

Scared the world will be like No Man's Sky. A shallow ocean. HUGE, but nothing unique. Procedural generation........same thing recopied over and over. A game that is massive, but feels completely empty. I think the game should not be a whole galaxy, it should be a single star system. I mean why not? Make like 12 planets, 30 moons, 7 space stations, a couple asteroid belts. Seriously, make the solar system big, but make places unique. This 1000 planet thing doesn't excite me one bit.
I believe that your concerns are very valid! Have you considered how many DLCâs all that extra space could get us, though? Who knows what theyâll do exactly. The worlds in elite are pretty dead but I still have fun cruising around looking for fauna. That being said⊠the fun part of that is landing and trying not to crash my ship. Something that apparently wonât happen in this game. Who knows?

I would care more if it were multi player.. the fact that you can not play with others is disappointing... I struggle playing single player games. If this were an open world.. holyshit.
It was such a bummer the first time I heard about this game being single player only. There are so many multiplayer games that I have mostly only played solo BUT knowing that the option is there is in itself such a massive thing for me. I have 3 boys and the thought of taking over ships together would have been the most awesome thing! We need a sea of thieves space game but have the option of private servers. Thatâs my dream scenario.
