That's a good looking dog, keep up the good work. Best I've seen at her age.

How do you get her to be so attentive for training? My dobe is 10 weeks old and will not sit still for training.
Looking forward to any tips you can share!

Anfernee, That is a good question. I have some other videos that could be helpful. Check out the ones about feeding and basic obedience with Indie. But if I had to just give a couple quick tips on that I would say keep your training sessions short and try to demand attention. Be the center of attention. You have to be the most exciting thing in the world to your puppy. Do that by playing tug and rewarding only good behavior starting with when your puppy pays attention to you. As soon as he makes good eye contact, reward him. I am going to put a video out soon on just what you asked. Working with dogs can be really rewarding. It is a challenge for sure though! Puppies are crazy. Look forward to hearing from you in the future. God bless.

Hey Jake, Virgie indeed is awesome performing all those commands so well 😍😍.
I have an American Doberman 8 weeks and 2 days old today. Named him Pluto and does follow some commands very well. However with the speed at which he is learning I feel that I am falling short of lessons for him. Do share if you are following any plan. Also, do you keep Virgie in a crate?

Thank you! Virgie is crate trained. Make sure you keep repeating the older commands as you add new commands. In about a week and a half I am going to be starting a new series of videos with a new puppy that will be good for you. In the meantime, I would focus on desenstizing to new sounds and surfaces. All sounds should be from a good distance away. Try to always have the puppy have good experiences, especially when encountering new things, including the crate. Thanks for commenting and I will get a video up for you in a couple weeks!

I bought a puppy from a lady who said they were 6 weeks old when I got him. He is already 16lbs and looks bigger than this pictured 8 week old. Is it possible she lied about his age?

Where are u located? How often do u have pups? And what is the price of a female pup?

We are located in Ohio. Our dobermans are still pretty young. We are in the process of titling them and completing all the health testing. It will be about 18 months before we have any puppies. The price will vary depending on the titles and pedigree of the sire, so we don't know that yet. Ballpark price would be $3500. Soon, we will be opening up a waiting list. Thanks so much for watching our channel!
