I have been using 2019 model honda cb500x for daily commuting and long distance touring in the Netherlands for past 7 months. Honda CB500X is well-suited for touring due to its comfortable ergonomics, reliable and efficient engine, good wind protection, and versatile suspension setup. It strikes a balance between performance and comfort, making it a reliable companion for both short trips and extended tours. I can easily cruise on long trips 130 km all day with sufficent amount of power left for overtaking. And i have done trips to germany alps with bigger companions sv650,moto morini 650 and few bigger engines. I can very easily cope up with them because of its versatile nature and linear torquey smooth engine.
This is the Honda I've always wanted to own. Will never buy it because of that price tag.

Which one is cheaper to maintain - cb500x or versys 650
Xpulse is still the most affordable n proper offroader also lightweight than all the available A D Vs in market . I don't stop on any breakers , pot holes , no roads , mud , I am above 90 kgs and xpulse is superb in body balancing , I don't use front disc break always use rear disk and engine breaking .
Personally ridden my friend Xpluse 200 and coming from a R15 V3 owner- Xpluse is a pretty good bike for our Indian roads. It can tackle it very smoothly. However it doesn't mean that it may overshadow the likes of 500X or KTM Duke 390 Adventure or Himalayan.
@@divyeshpatel1539 yes bro Honda 500 x , KTM 390 and Himalayan these are costly bikes with more power more features also better technology but a common indian man can't afford to purchase and even maintain but Xpulse is only affordable and easily maintainable bike
@@JaisiKarniWaisiBharniMynameHSD yes Xpluse is quite a friendly bike in terms of maintenance and owning one. Plus their upcoming 4V Xpluse might help with better top end speed for touring.
if a person doesn't like to go fast or rush, and enjoys riding easy, Xpulse is just super. I have one, so I can say. Was thinking of buying a more powerful, more expensive bike, but nahh, not right now.

Soon Triumph tiger 660 is launching in India which is already revealed globally in coming time it will hit markets in India.
It will much better option compared to versus 650 and this CB 500 X if you love touring on road .
Ofcourse if you want some serious off roading you can go for V strom also
8L is big गड्ढा without traction control, spoke tubeless like vstrom, bash plate, knuckle guard..... 6.5-7L tak thik tha on road. Honda is in india only to sell activas. This bike is one of the cheapest best seller across world. बस इंडिया आके होंडा का दिमाग बंध हो जाता है

HONDA CB200X is a very good budget tourer & all terrain bike.After few modifications its performance can be increased also & you can go for Adventure touring.

Maybe the engine is good for Indian roads, but the price is the deal-breaker, the kind of on-road price it has, somebody should go for the versys 650 and better performance, comfort. based on the price and specification it's not good for the Indian market.

Overpriced and no value for money. Prices for adventure bikes will drop surely in the near future once more companies introduce them and competition intensifies. It's ironic that we as Indians have to pay so much more for more powerful bikes, whereas roads & traffic sense are some of the worst.

Cb500x is way to expensive with less features. No doubt engine side is too good but still if it is comes near to 4.5-5 lakhs... Boss market akela capture kar leta. Jha log 4 lakhs dekar adv390 le rhe hai 1 lakh budget aur nikal ke twin cyclinder le lete with honda reliable and long term engine ke saath. Adv category mein but twin cyclinder mein ninja 300 and discountined bike R3 aati hai. Jo ki under 5lakhs thi. So honda can do this for increase sales. Rest jo hai usko lekar bdte raho 👍🏽😂

Hey i went and test rode the cb500x after your video..damn the bike is too good to ride…perfect riding stance and the suspension performance is just mind blowing…after the test ride im more angry with the honda guys for pricing it so ridiculous that ppl cant experience this bike..in kerala/karnataka, on road price is 9lakhs!!!!

Honda CB500x proven to be an excellent mid range ADV, but it's over priced too.
There will be a better option in Jan 2022. Triumph Tiger sport 660 at similar price.
Triumph Trident is already costlier than CB500X, Tiger 660 is going to cost even more.
Why Honda is keeping his all newly launched bikes 🏍 price too high also these bikes are only available at Honda big wings dont know how service will be done by big wings since no normal showroom and service center does service of these bikes
