UPDATE: Looks like GW has re-labelled Mr Sanguinor 'Temporarily Out of Stock'. Might have been jumping the gun with the webstore interpretation there and they could just have mis-labelled him. He's still pretty certain to get a reinterpretation at SOME POINT, though whether or not it winds up being the rumour engine bits we'll wait and see. Will mention it in my next news roundup video!
Lemartes is also no longer available. Add that to the fact there were no points changes to blood angels, I would think we may be seeing something happening for blood angels

Fun fact: I ordered a sanguinor to paint a couple of months ago and they sent me an extra one for free. Maybe it was a mistake or maybe they were wanting to clear the model out 🤷🏻♂️

Are you the guy that mounted a Sanguinor on a terminator banner in a recent Reddit post? If not, GW’s been mailing out Sanguinor duplicates on multiple occasions.

I think, it should be the "normal", that GW produces enough of their edition starter boxes to last a while, so every new player has an opportunity to get one while midst of the edition. The "abnormal" thig is the extreme fomo and rarity that we see sometimes (mostly) with 40k boxes.
@@quahodron2756 one issue with 40k boxes: their "worth" increase over time which means a lot of scalpers by up everything in order to sell them with a margin later. Which puts a strain on availability.
I understand that they are busy with the fourth edition launch. But I was hoping we would get an update on the codex roadmap for 40K at the last two that we know about just released
Yeah there should be no reason NOT to share what's happening in 40k now. They done aos, they are not doing anything with 40k right now and god knows they put Old World on the back burner. Would take them nothing to post a damn jpeg on their insta page
Please let them upscale The Sanguinor and make him the Blood Angels Primarch equivalent.
It’s a shame the Blood Angels already got a huge spotlight with the Devastation of Baal, because that would’ve actually been a perfect time to unveil a new Sanguinor, nice and suped up to help repel Leviathan.
Actually, maybe that could still work with the 4th Tyrannic War. Like, “he’s back with a vengeance” or something.

Valrak's rumor sources are saying BA's in Sept, which could easily mean pre-order and/or 'launch box with early access codex' in Sept, then full release in late Oct/early - mid Nov time? ;-)

I’m just making the observation that that particular assassin is listed as “sold out online” while other items (eg Caladius Grav Tanks) are listed as “temporarily sold out.”
I was worried that the sanguinor was out of stock but thankfully you cleared up that’s it’s actually the Sanuinor that’s gone.

Edit: since like 4 people have replied saying basically the same thing I should clarify. I'm not a blood angels player and have no interest in them as a chapter. I just need another impulsor body, have no aggressors yet, would like a squad of incursors, and have the bits to convert the ints into other things
If you want all the models in the box, then sure, otherwise, nothing in the box is uniquely blood angels. If a new box comes, odds are it'll probably be a worse value than the current, but hopefully will contain something that is unique to the blood angels.
@@tomasbratnober506 yeah im not a blood angels player. I just want basically everything but the intercessors. I've got 10 infiltrators from the 9th edition space marines box, but no incursors. A second transport would be nice for a few reasons (including possibly converting to a gladiator with printed parts), and I dont have any aggressors as of now

Don't mate. The box is Utter Sheeit. Just pick up some Jump intercessors and Jump captain. Maybe Jump intercessors as extra troops and hang back for the reveals. If my plumbs are to be believed we gonna get DC box, Sang Guard, Assault Termies and Sanguinor + Astorath or Lemartes upscaled.
Plus patrol boxes are an overall shite deal

I really hope they do the sanguinor like they did Abbadon and make him the primarch option for Blood Angels, bringing Sanguinius back removes the epicness of his story and no dead primarch means no Black Rage

I'm still waiting for when the Necromunda stuff comes out so I can get some awesome Tyranid 'proxies' if you can call them that
So from i have seen each mainline alt space marine faction is getting a update in the following:
1. 1-2 Characters (for da it was azreal and deathwing man, i think if its gonna be the sanguinor, the only other choice i can think of is lemartes)
2. Terminator upgrade sprew
3. Updated elite unit (current indications is the sanguinary guard are being made into a 3 man box and are gonna be getting a bit of a buff but nothing more then that)
4. Anither unit that can either be elite or something i bit more basic(da got 2 elite units, i have gotten no leaks on this 2nd unit but if i had to guess i would say death company)
Additionally; the Tranceweaver herald of Slaanesh (the last herald on foot in resin) was also definitively out of stock on EU store and is now completely gone.
450 is soo much money though, Think I will have to wait to see what kind of money the Skaven half could command to recoup part of it
I'm so glad I decided to get a Sanguinor(and a few other old BA-specific minis) last month, hoping/expecting that we'd get a Blood Angel tease that haven't gotten yet. Randomly had a thought that I should probably get any of the older stuff I'd want prior to any BA reveals, just in case they get replaced.
(Got the BA Assault Termies too, just in case we finally get the assault termie squad)
Ridiculously expensive in Australia. I’m on a fairly good income but can no way justify offloading $450 on this. That’s nearly half way to $1000 bucks!!

I would encourage anyone who is interested in AoS to give it a try with 4th. The game has come a long, LONG, way since 1st edition.
And with how much effort they're putting into spearhead mode, it seems like it will be a pretty low barrier to entry.
I absolutely love Cities of Sigmar Spearhead. I can build it from old fantasy empire models on round bases.

I love the idea of starting AoS, but it comes at a time when big changes to 3 of my armies in 40k means I want to drop money on those, so Im not going to have spare cash for the AoS box for another month or two. Feels like weird timing to do a 10.0.5 as well as AoS drop

AT, please expand your coverage of AoS as we go into 4E. It's a great time to get into covering the competitive side of it, because it is being entirely reset to zero.
He has his hands full with 40K
I can see the box going both ways. AOS is far less popular than 40k, and Space Marines made around more than the whole fantasy range combined in the past. The AOS Dominion Box was available for a very long time. But on the other side, Skaven are WAY more popular than cruel boys. And probably also more popular than Stormcast Eternals. Especially since we now have also The Old World. Since Skaven did not really change in style in the transtition from WHFB to AOS, the set will have demand in multiple game systems, which could elevate demand over supply....
I would say that new Skaven have become much more mutated than ever before in old fantasy.
But I can also say that in general the whole Age of Sigmar has a consistent and iconic Warhammer style and design, so it is not surprising that everyone wants to buy these miniatures.

Well, there still a rumours about new BL in August, so.
New Sanguinor model inbound.
I'm pivoting into AoS from 40k for this edition. I think my hate for AoS was mostly tied to the old world/WHFB being shelved.
Genuinely excited for this release
Terrain in the starter sets might seem like a good idea in theory, but I personally think its just completely wrongheaded. Yes the idea is being able to play a small game out of the box, but the idea is also to give you a sizeable start to two armies. You will always need to buy more models after the starter set if it works as a starter set, while you may or may not need proper plastic terrain. Your game store might already have plenty, you might not really care about that kind of thing and be just as happy using cheap alternative terrain that's practically free. Everyone needs more models, only some people need proper terrain sprues, so just including another unit in each army would mean practically everyone would benefit from those sprues, whereas not everyone will benefit from the terrain, making it a worse deal for them. If you're that married to being able to play a proper small game out of the box I think low cost pop out cardboard terrain is a better way to go.

I've been wholeheartedly with Age of Sigmar since 2015! I even almost abandoned all my 40k projects for Sigmar sake.
However, if Games Workshop one day decides to replace Age of Sigmar with some “Old World” I will be ready for this: I will rework ALL my AoS minatures for 40k, such as Stormcast as Custodes and etc.
