Huh, interesting. I knew it was slowly killing him but I thought adamantium supported his healing since in the comics wolverine survived a volcano eruption and there was nothing but his metal bones, then regenerated seconds later.
Deadpools healing factor has varied throughout the comics and originally his healing factor was taken from wolverines and was inferior but over time Deadpool has evolved to the point of being an immortal nexus being who is in love with literal death.

Colossus technically wasn't always made of steel but rather he sees it as a choice to stay in that form because he's a hero in that form. (Colossus' ability is to convert his entire human tissue (organs included) into a organic metal
The reason he does not take the bag into the last battle is that they did not have enough money for such a battle, so they made him forget it. Also Negasonic's powers in the comics was way less then they made her here. She saw her own death 10 minutes before it happened? Or was it 10 seconds... Anyway I am glad they made her more to her name in this movie.
35:46 in the comics Deadpool said “Hey, if you Looked like Ryan Reynolds crossed with a shar-pei, you’d understand!” This was before he thought about doing the character. They got Fox to pony up for a test clip. Fox didn’t really want to do the movie so they let them make the test clip then shelve it. Then someone leaked it. Ryan said only three people had access and won’t say who did it. So they gave the go ahead after many fans wrote in wanting it made. They gave it a crappy budget (which is why Deadpool references the budget and the studio not being able to afford other X-men) and even wouldn’t pay to have the writers on set for rewrites so Ryan paid for the writers to be on set out of his own pocket. 38:57 I did that to my wife with “Carol of the Bells”. I started singing “Ding Fries are Done” to the tune of “Carol of the Bells”. She was ready to kill me. 42:28 look at the “I” in Francis closely. 45:28 they couldn’t say it at the time cause this was part of Fox/Marvel and not the MCU but the ship they’re fighting on is a helicarrier from Shield.
It's also why Deadpool is always forgetting the gun bag, they didn't have the budget for the fight sequences with him doing guns, so they did it "old school". And yes, Ryan is widely believed to be the one who leaked the test footage, because this was a labor of love for him.
From physically assaulting an Uber driver, a female college student and phoning in a phony bomb threat to Amtrak, TJ Miller was asked not to return for the 2nd Deadpool. And was dropped by Dreamworks from several projects.
@@Andrew.Grabowski The Amtrak incident happened after filming DP2. The accusations from his college days came out around the time it was being shot or during post production, so there wasn't exactly anything that could be done but maybe limit his screen time.
12:26 "Who doesn't like T.J. Miller?", well...pretty much everybody, at least since the SA allegations came out a few years ago. Granted those accusations didn't come out till after filming Deadpool 2.
Just one. Got drunk and called in a bomb threat accusing a lady he was having an argument with. Charges dropped after finding out he has brain damage on the condition he pay restitution to cover the cost of police response.
Deadpool's healing is kind of the opposite of Wolverine's, his cancer replaces his dead cells with cancerous cells, and it's much stronger than Wolverines'.
11:40 in the Comics this scene plays out similarly except the pizza guy had spread a rumor about the girl that ruined her life so bad that when Deadpool whispered it to the guy whose house he broke into the guy told Deadpool to kill the pizza guy and to keep the wallet he stole
Collusus, [Peter] when he was young, he could control his transformation between the metal him and human him. This is from the comic book series'. I don't remember if it became a permanent thing when he matured, but if you've seen original X-Men, you see Peter as a teen.
TJ Miller got salty because Ryan called him "Weasel". But his character's name in the comic is literally Weasel, and Ryan was just getting in character. He also joked about a bomb on train. And that says a lot about him as a person.
And allegedly assaulted an Uber driver. And has a serious sexual assault allegation. Was also removed from Silicon Valley due to missing work and turning up under the influence. Pretty much unemployable in the industry now
First bit is inaccurate. He wasn’t upset that Ryan called him “weasel” that’s his characters name in the movie too and they both know this. He was upset that Ryan (in character as Deadpool) would tease him as if he was Weasel even though they weren’t filming. This was a misunderstanding of Ryan still being in character in between takes and TJ misinterpreting and thinking the comments to be unprompted and rude. Theres plenty of proof that TJ is a jerk and extremely unprofessional but that isn’t one.
Short version: Deadpool has super healing....but his cancer has super healing too, it's just he's healing just a half step faster than the cancer is killing him...hence his appearance Oh and Colossus can change into a flesh-and-blood human, but as a cgi character he doesn't look like his voice actor, so he just stays metal the entire movie
"Who is that guy, he's so familiar?" He is Kyle Cassie and he looks like Gary LeVox, the lead singer of Rascal Flatts. At least that is what popped in my head the first time I saw him.
Her reaction to his tiny hand is the exact reaction I had to Steve Carell's scene in Bruce Almighty. I know this has nothing to do with this movie but it's the only time I have literally fallen out of my seat laughing.
Ryan and TJ "dislike each other" doesn't quite capture it. It seems like there was some conversation between Deadpool 2 & 3 that probably went along the lines of; "Sorry TJ, but your multiple sexual assault allegations, and well-documented history of toxic behavior on numerous projects has made it so that Weasel won't be appearing in Deadpool 3." after which time TJ, butt-hurt and lashing-out like the man-child he is, made some bizarre allegation that Reynolds was especially mean to him on one day of filming Deadpool 2, insisting all the crew would back him up (the opposite, NUMEROUS crew members and costars came out and said that TJ was fabricating the entire thing... ultimately Miller retracted his version of events and basically just went quiet about it.
Colossus was metal the entire time because they didn't want to pay royalties for his normal human form, the girl was created just for the movie for the same reason.
Wolverine’s healing factor isn’t as strong as Deadpool’s. If you cut off wolverine’s head it would kill him. If you cut off Deadpool’s head it would grow his body back.
I need a "What would Deadpool Do?" T-shirt His nickname is "The Merc with the Mouth" because of his wisecracks, so sewing his mouth shut in that X-Men movie was a real kick in a sensative place to Marvel fans.
Colossus has the power to shift his body into organic steel, this is shown in the original ''X-men 2: X-Men United''. For whatever reason, they decided to have him only appear in his armored form for the Deadpool films.
@thorkagemob1297 even if wolverine didn't have the metal deadpools healing is still better because he's literally immortal Wolverine can die if his brain is destroyed
@@Dr.HooWho It depends on the comics there was one comic where Wolverine was blown up from a nuclear blast and he reformed with just a small tissue of his skin left on the ground.
It’s not better per say it’s just the opposite of each other. Wolverine’s keeps him alive almost always close to max hp while Deadpool’s just keep him at 1 hp he’s constantly in pain from it that’s why he jokes a lot to take his focus off the pain nd it drove him insane to the point he hears voices and that insanity caused him to break the 4th wall
In this, Ryan Remolds breaks the fourth wall because that is one of Deadpool's powers, he knows he is a comic book character in a comic book or in this case, a comic book movie.
It’s not a “power” per say his “Healing” factor and cancer literally drove him insane that he hears voices and those voices told him he’s in a fictional character. Even in the Deadpool game they kept the voices and was constantly talking to the voices/himself. His only power is the healing factor the 4th wall break is from his insanity
T J has a very bad reputation in Hollywood. He was accused of sexual assault by several women and of bringing drugs onto the set. He has also been accused of assaulting several people on different crews. He has literally been fired from every show and movie he has ever been in, and his career in Hollywood is pretty much over. He has been accusing Reynolds recently, but these accusations only emerged after it was announced that he would not be in the third Deadpool movie. It's basically the case of someone who got fired later saying he quit.
Just to clarify his healing is one of the most op healing factors in marvel up there with wolverine, in my opinion his is stronger because any piece of his body down to a molecuer level will heal and everything
I still want a scene in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie where Deadpool gets dusted by Thanos, and just immediately comes back together and is like "Wtf just happened?" Lol
Around '04 I had a friend ask me who my pick for a live action Deadpool would be. I said Ryan Reynolds, but he's probably too vain to do it. I didn't realize at the time what a big fan he was.
Francis really did have something in his teeth the second time, also Wade's healing factor is not from Wolverines but like Deadpool said... he doesn't have a healing Factor... he has a dying Factor and his cancer is replacing the old cells
If I remember correctly, most if not all mutants get an increase in their physical capabilities. So even if they don't have super strength they're still stronger than average.
Yep i was seeing it for the second time a guy came in with 2 young boys he ran the kids out of there right the "Smooth criminals" joke im guessing he hadn't been warned about the humor, Made the movie a lot more funnier for me.
26:50 the movie doesn't say it, but someone said that his entire body became cancerous because his ALREADY mutated cells got a powerup too after the transformation as many times as I watched the movie, it never clicked that he asks everyone where FRANCIS is, but they all know him as Ajax
Re: TJ Miller - sexual assault allegations, as well as assault and battery on an Uber driver and calling in a bomb threat on an Amtrak train were what kinda stopped him being involved in DP&W
"What happened to his skin?" It was boiled. The lower the pressure the lower the temperature needed to boil/melt something. In a vacuum chamber, room temperature is enough to boil a human.
In the beginning Deadpool said He's been waiting for this 1 year 3 weeks 6days 14 minutes for him to fix what he did to me @ 4:30. The reason why Francis can pull off such feats of strength is because he can't feel pain, so his body lacks the built-in neurological limiters our bodies have to keep us from overstressing our muscles. So he can do things like one hand lift a person or bend that rebar he impaled Wade with, but his muscles suffered tearing from it. But of course he can't feel the tearing and no longer has any emotions so can't be assed that he's destroying his own body. His entire power set is designed for him to be a deadpan no fucks given punching bag.
the weird guy is a recruiter for mutant x, the same group that created wolverines blades and adamantium skeleton. wolverine was already a mutant so they didnt create that part.
8:53 Wolverine and Deadpool both have insane healing factors, they’re about equal just because the can’t get and better. Apparently both have regenerated from a single drop of blood. NERD OVERANALYSIS: In the comics Deadpool’s is technically better, but that’s just cause he was cursed by Thanos to be immortal, cause both of them were in love with Lady Death. This isn’t canon to the films for obvious reasons. Though Wolverine has an adamantium (super strong fictional metal) coated skeleton so it would be harder to injure him. It’s unclear if Wade can age, but he can’t die of old age (cause of the curse) while Wolverine ages very slowly and can die of old age. The immortality curse did get removed in later comics, and thus could die of old age. With his curse removed the only way you could kill either Wade or Logan is by destroying every cell of theirs, so there isn’t anything they could regenerate from.
It's insane that the building he got his powers from, burned off hot enough to melt the steel rod in his chest and for him to wake up without it in his chest.

On the whole, I love the first Deadpool, but Deadpool 2 just hits harder for me. And Deadpool and Wolverine? WELL, I just can't wait for that to hit digital release... so many people to get to see watch it...
24:38 My first thought is that I _would_ go through all that to get superpowers, but my second thought is, that what if I become someone so powerful that I'm basically immortal? Yes, that would be great for "a while".. like some thousands of years. But if we think about timescales of, say, millions, or billions of years. I would _NOT_ be looking forward to floating aeons in the void of space waiting for the collapse of the universe in seemingly infinite nothingness alone with my thoughts. That is the most terrifying thing I could ever think of and life coming to and end and resulting in the loss of consciousness so we never have to experience that is practically a blessing.
For those that don't know Dopinher's revival that ends up in the trunk is actually Ryan Reynolds. Oh yea the "Language Please" line is a reference to Captain America from Avengers Age of Ultron. Oh yea watch the movie Logan 1st or Deadpool 2 will ruin the ending.

"And *that's* why Regina rhymes with 'fun'!"
Regina vagina. It's a sex joke
Tess’s ability to recognize characters and actors would make her unbeatable in the Movie Game.
Tess does have a knack for remembering actors from other media lol
The only good thing about green lantern is it was where Ryan met his wife Blake Lively
Colossus technically wasn't always made of steel but rather he sees it as a choice to stay in that form because he's a hero in that form. (Colossus' ability is to convert his entire human tissue (organs included) into a organic metal
TJ Miller was the one who joked about a bomb on a train.... that tells you everything you need to know about him as a person.
And there was the #MeToo issues that came out about him
"I should have listened to him" and he got it recorded.. my man🎉
They're going to play this clip at Jess' funeral.
I really enjoyed your guys reactions. When touch the lady 's face with his baby hand and Jess ''Lost it.'' It made me smile...
Just posted Deadpool 2 today. Tess was at it again lol
35:46 in the comics Deadpool said “Hey, if you
Looked like Ryan Reynolds crossed with a shar-pei, you’d
understand!” This was before he thought about doing the character.
Studios have gone from not wanting to make the franchise, to praying that the franchise saves their MCU 🤣
He was in the 2nd Deadpool though. I think you maybe mean the third one that comes out soon.
There's something wrong with some people. Crazy to think they would get away with this stuff a while back
@@Andrew.Grabowski The Amtrak incident happened after filming DP2.
And I also think that he had called in a couple of bomb threats just for fun.
oh no! didn't hear about this!
Just one. Got drunk and called in a bomb threat accusing a lady he was having an argument with. Charges dropped after finding out he has brain damage on the condition he pay restitution to cover the cost of police response.
@@JessAndTessyeah… also apparently he called in a bomb threat to Amtrak…
Says “Is that guy okay”?
Splat
Ooooooh!!! Lol
🤣🤣🤣
Deadpool's healing is kind of the opposite of Wolverine's, his cancer replaces his dead cells with cancerous cells, and it's much stronger than Wolverines'.
As a Canadian I find it hilarious that all major heroes with healing powers are Canadian.
They do have the best medical care😂
𝖨𝗌𝗇'𝗍 𝙃𝙪𝙜𝙝 ȷᥲᥴkmᥲᥒ an Aussie?
If you laughed that hard at the baby hand I absolutely cannot wait for you to watch the 2nd one!
The irony is nobody knows who Francis is.
They only know him as Ajax.
He could have saved so much time
"I don't want to be thinking about that." Tess, don't lie to yourself. It's Hugh Jackman. EVERYONE wants to be thinking about that
🤣🤣
even me and I'm straight, but i aint that straight
TJ Miller got salty because Ryan called him "Weasel". But his character's name in the comic is literally Weasel, and Ryan was just getting in character.
He also joked about a bomb on train. And that says a lot about him as a person.
And allegedly assaulted an Uber driver. And has a serious sexual assault allegation.
Was also removed from Silicon Valley due to missing work and turning up under the influence.
Pretty much unemployable in the industry now
@@jspettifer Oh, I did not know about those. What a shitty human all around.
Colossus can retract his metal bands beneath his skin and look and feel human
Proof it's a date movie, and love story.
Short version: Deadpool has super healing....but his cancer has super healing too, it's just he's healing just a half step faster than the cancer is killing him...hence his appearance
Oh and Colossus can change into a flesh-and-blood human, but as a cgi character he doesn't look like his voice actor, so he just stays metal the entire movie
Nobody wants to see a normal dude anyway. Just leave him metal
Where Bruce makes him spout out gibberish?
@@JessAndTess yes!
Deadpool's healing factor is stronger than that of Wolverine
Colossus was metal the entire time because they didn't want to pay royalties for his normal human form, the girl was created just for the movie for the same reason.
Love her laugh! Really contagious and the 3+minutes of laughter because of the baby hand was really cute lol.
Subscribed!
Appreciate it!! ❤️
Wolverine’s healing factor isn’t as strong as Deadpool’s. If you cut off wolverine’s head it would kill him. If you cut off Deadpool’s head it would grow his body back.
But wouldn't that give him 2 body's 1 for the head and 1 for the rest?🙄
Didn’t wolverine come back to left when predator took his head?
I need a "What would Deadpool Do?" T-shirt
His nickname is "The Merc with the Mouth" because of his wisecracks, so sewing his mouth shut in that X-Men movie was a real kick in a sensative place to Marvel fans.
Omg I forgot that was from Ferris Bueller's day off! Hilarious😂
Colossus has the power to shift his body into organic steel, this is shown in the original ''X-men 2: X-Men United''. For whatever reason, they decided to have him only appear in his armored form for the Deadpool films.
I like him metal anyway. Who wants to see a normal guy?
Because he was “A CGI Character” referred to in the opening. They didn’t want to pay for another X-Man.
Actually, Deadpool's healing factor is much much better than Wolverine's.
I believe part of that is because of the adamantium in Wolverines body. But still true.
@thorkagemob1297 even if wolverine didn't have the metal deadpools healing is still better because he's literally immortal
Wolverine can die if his brain is destroyed
@@Dr.HooWho It depends on the comics there was one comic where Wolverine was blown up from a nuclear blast and he reformed with just a small tissue of his skin left on the ground.
It’s not better per say it’s just the opposite of each other. Wolverine’s keeps him alive almost always close to max hp while Deadpool’s just keep him at 1 hp he’s constantly in pain from it that’s why he jokes a lot to take his focus off the pain nd it drove him insane to the point he hears voices and that insanity caused him to break the 4th wall
Around the 25 min mark when you were talking about worst possible powers all I could think of was squirrel girl lol
If you haven’t noticed that again, the black suit is one of the aliens from the movie Galaxy quest with Tim Taylor
Tim Allen
In this, Ryan Remolds breaks the fourth wall because that is one of Deadpool's powers, he knows he is a comic book character in a comic book or in this case, a comic book movie.
It’s not a “power” per say his “Healing” factor and cancer literally drove him insane that he hears voices and those voices told him he’s in a fictional character. Even in the Deadpool game they kept the voices and was constantly talking to the voices/himself. His only power is the healing factor the 4th wall break is from his insanity
Wow its incredible that Tess pointed out the original Dario. I thought I knew everything about this movie
Recognizing actors from different roles is Tess' super power.
Oh yeah, me and him are the same. you replied with perfect comedic timing, man! that one made me LOL for sure.
🤣
I still want a scene in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie where Deadpool gets dusted by Thanos, and just immediately comes back together and is like "Wtf just happened?" Lol
T.J. Miller says he and Ryan Reynolds have reconciled: 'It was a misunderstanding' Published on October 12, 2022 on Entertainment Weekly
Sure hope so
I made the mistake of watching green Lantern in the theater as well. You are not alone. There are tens of us out here that feel your pain lol
🤣🤣😭😭
Around '04 I had a friend ask me who my pick for a live action Deadpool would be. I said Ryan Reynolds, but he's probably too vain to do it. I didn't realize at the time what a big fan he was.
There's a fan theory that when Wade is following Vanessa and all the people are staring at him, they're actually not, it's all in Wade's head.
Makes more sense than just everyone staring at the poor guy
"Fan theory"? It's an obvious interpretation, doesn't take a genius.
Jed Rees, "the Recruter", was also in Galaxy Quest as Teb.
Francis really did have something in his teeth the second time, also Wade's healing factor is not from Wolverines but like Deadpool said... he doesn't have a healing Factor... he has a dying Factor and his cancer is replacing the old cells
Still cracks me up how THE GREAT Leslie Uggams got this gig.
"God I Miss Cocaine"😂😂😂
If I remember correctly, most if not all mutants get an increase in their physical capabilities. So even if they don't have super strength they're still stronger than average.
Makes sense!
Well, Francis doesn't feel pain from overexertion, and Deadpool instantly heals from any overexertion, so both can exert themselves beyond the norm.
I love watching reactions to this and any dark humor movie. This is my personality.
If she laughs this much at the baby hand, just wait for Deadpool 2.
I'm glad I got to see these in a theater. You don't what you have tell it's gone just saying try and never take stuff for granted.
Yep i was seeing it for the second time a guy came in with 2 young boys he ran the kids out of there right the "Smooth criminals" joke im guessing he hadn't been warned about the humor, Made the movie a lot more funnier for me.
26:50 the movie doesn't say it, but someone said that his entire body became cancerous because his ALREADY mutated cells got a powerup too after the transformation
as many times as I watched the movie, it never clicked that he asks everyone where FRANCIS is, but they all know him as Ajax
"Say the magic words, fat Gandalf!"
Greatest zinger EVER!!!
🤣
In the beginning Deadpool said He's been waiting for this 1 year 3 weeks 6days 14 minutes for him to fix what he did to me @ 4:30.
At the end of the move Deadpool says it's been a rough couple years @ 47:26 .
They skipped over the word when has says that but it's there.
*Regardless it's a great movie.*
I remember when this movie came out. We knew it was going to be like this, but the first 15 minutes still hit us like a train of bricks
"got some of quick healing like wolverine but it isnt as strong though" his healing factor is way stronger then wolverines
"Who doesn't like TJ Miller?"
Probably the woman he falsely (and drunkenly) called a bomb threat on while riding a train 😅
Tess's reaction to "baby hands" was absolutely phenomenal!
🤣
One of the BEST reactions I've ever seen...very few interruptions. Thanks for not cutting away from scenes while making comments...I got to see the context of the reaction better. VERY WELL!
Really appreciate that!! It's a tough balance between showing enough of the movie to get context, without showing too much where youtube doesn't even let me post it.
Oh, and I kid you not, Ajax did name himself after the dish soap...as he's a "Cleaner" (in other words, an assassin)
🤣🤣
PLEASE React to Deadpool 2!!!
Deadpool 1 is the funnier of the two, but Deadpool 2 is waaaay more emotional to watch for me, and is my favorite!
We will be watching it soon! Make sure to subscribe to be notified when we post it!
@@JessAndTess Already done!
33:27 Him: "See?!? Deadpool gets Crocs. Can I get Crocs?" Her:"NOOO!!!" ... Listen to your wife, she's a keeper!
Just found your channel and love the reaction. The fact that she laughed so much at baby hands was awesome. My other half will get into a laughing fit and even the mention of it, joking around with the same kind of topic will just continue her to have the laughing fit for a few minutes to the point she has to walk away because she starts needing to breathe more than laugh. xD
Would personally love to see you guys react to some TV/franchises/movie series's that would keep me coming back for more. No idea if you've all see the Marvel phases from Iron man to the current, The last Airbender TV show/Legend of Korra, it has some great humor and amazing visuals, The dragon prince or anything sci/fi - /Fantasy I'll probably keep coming back for more.
Oh, and if you haven't seen it, my favourite movie is Scott Pilgrim VS The World. (Has some amazing actors in it and before a lot of them became super famous. Chris Evans from Captain America, Brie Larson (Marvel), Brandon Routh (Superman) and Audrey Plaza to name a few.
Have a great day. :3
Scott Pilgrim is definitely on our list, even though we have both seen it, it's been YEARS.
We will be watching Movie series, like all 3 Deadpools eventually, all the John Wicks, etc. If we enjoy the 1st in a series, you can be sure we will be watching the rest.
We're unsure how we are going to tackle TV series right now, but it's something we are interested in.
SOOO looking forward to Deadpool and Wolverine ❤🎉🤣
Same! We are waiting until we can watch it at home for the channel!
You two are *GREAT!*
🙂
I knew absolutely nothing about this (These) movie(s) until I stumbled across other 'Reaction' videos of them, and instantly ordered (And watched) both! Love both your knowledge of the actors, stories, but especially seeing YOU enjoy and respond to all the insanity this movie possesses!
Thank you!
❤️
Fun fact: Fat Gandalf is in the third movie as one of Wayde’s friends
Deadpool healing is actually way better than wolverines
In other X-Men movies asked stories Colossus is not metal all the time, he can turn it on and off.
Blessing and a curse lol
the weird guy is a recruiter for mutant x, the same group that created wolverines blades and adamantium skeleton. wolverine was already a mutant so they didnt create that part.
8:53 Wolverine and Deadpool both have insane healing factors, they’re about equal just because the can’t get and better. Apparently both have regenerated from a single drop of blood.
NERD OVERANALYSIS:
In the comics Deadpool’s is technically better, but that’s just cause he was cursed by Thanos to be immortal, cause both of them were in love with Lady Death.
Very in-depth. Thanks!
It's insane that the building he got his powers from, burned off hot enough to melt the steel rod in his chest and for him to wake up without it in his chest.
There is a 9/11 inside job joke here somewhere...
Its funny when he said "please don't make the super suit Green" lol coz Green Lantern was a flop lol
"Ronnie Millsap" was a famous blind singer from CANADA, from the 70's... 😅
When he is confronting her for pointing her gun 'down range' ... A GREAT AND OBSCURE REFERENCE !!! 😅 ❤ 😂 I LOVE IT SO MUCH 😅 😂.... HI-FUCKING-LAREOUS !!! 😅
Went right over my head
On the whole, I love the first Deadpool, but Deadpool 2 just hits harder for me. And Deadpool and Wolverine? WELL, I just can't wait for that to hit digital release... so many people to get to see watch it...
Can't wait!
That's a good point. Immortality seems like a curse
Not exactly a longshot ending tho.
Hoping to get Logan in before watching Deadpool 2
