- While the KV-JR was a letdown, the DTH-STR is certainly not. With an incredible gun and good mobility, this tier 8 tank destroyer can be very capable when played to its strengths. Today, I will be showcasing this new season tank to demonstrate how it performs and how I would recommend playing it.

Most mobile players are in chill date rooms
I love HRF. I learned immensely from watching his gameplay. Took me from 50% to 60%, without question...
But from watching him, I've also learned what happens when you dont communicate with your teams. He's right about NA being an absolue mess. HOWEVER. I would say about 10% ( MAYBE even 20% ) of games which are losses, can be turned around by proper pinging of radio and communication of teams.
The player base has dropped in skill and game knowledge. No doubt. But i play with chat off, and ping radio to lead my teams, and it actually works sometimes. He never communicates with his teams. A handful of times per stream. If that. Every game personally ive played with him off stream in random que ( about 5 ) there's zero use of radio by him.
I think he would mald less if he tried, idk, not just expecting players to know what to do but lead them instead.

He's a better player than I'll ever be. But i believe he's leaving behind the player base who _he could be playing with,_ if you know what i mean.
Not every team will communicate back. Not every player will get it. Some just spam radio like a fool. But _often_ you can pull it out of the fire by directing and working with your team. And you dont even need to turn chat on for it. Communication works more often than not.
Even in NA servers.
I've had some stupid scenarios where one player starts communicating and all of a sudden 3 low hp tanks can beat 7 sudo healthy ones that pretty much yolo (I mean 3 vs 7 why not yolo for a little damage). Yeah the other 2 on my team were sub 50% wr and in bad positions but I was able to farm and keep both of them alive for us to win since we focused our fire well.
@@Ion_Cannon42 exactly bro. End of the day, this is still a team game. And if no one else is communicating, but you start signaling who to attack, retreat, or with the new ping a position feature ( which I personally love and use nearly every game ) you can lead teams to the wins.
@@Ion_Cannon42 your point about red teams yoloing for damage is actually really true. Use the mess NA server player base weaknesses against themselves!
I just upgraded it to full and I am glad I did. I love this tank. It is rear turret, so I can easily keep the hull out of danger.
29:10 Blitz sold out. WG has done everything to not make the game future proof and just sell premiums to new players. There are multiple tier 10s usually in store, players don't understand the game anymore, and it's really not enjoyable to play anymore, and nobody knows positions on maps. I moved on, and I really enjoy some other games. To be honest, I would appreciate it if you played something else as well, but if you stop playing blitz and then also stop streaming, I can totally understand. Blitz era is over.
Agreed. Tier X on Asia is similar to HRF’s teams today. Just clueless about where to even drive.
I agree. Wg did so many bad decisions back to back. None of the devs knew how to play. As a 10 year player i also moved on.

Balanced matchmaking would fix most issues. Instead WG load weak and inexperienced players to one side. They say it's random assignment, which is ridiculous because the probability to randomly get so many bad teams in a row is almost zero. I figure 3 at the most, and then it swings violently the other way. Except, it never does.

Same here lol. This is the only season that actually has tanks that I want. I already have the E10 witchbis a pretty sweet heavy at tier 7 but now I want the deaths star. I got plenty of time, but I know for sure I won’t be able to fully up it once I get it which sucks bc wargaming makes it cost way to much to fully upgrade it. It annoys me as well that after the season is over you have absolutely no way at all to upgrade the ranks the rest of the way. Hell if someone has the rank allow them to even spend gold or cash to fully upgrade it so it’s not just useless. Kind of a ripoff in a way bc wargaming is kind of making sure people spend actual money and gold now to get it fully upgraded since they won’t be able to do so later

Issue i have with this game is the teams are never balanced, i had 6-7 matches in a row where all 6 team mates were 40% vegetables who just die in the first min tops, sometimes in the first 30 sec a few are dead... Other team was all 50/60% lol how is one person meant to carry a whole team of 40%???

It's impossible to get the tier 8 season tank with top modules playing free. Generally you're halfway through the research and 10,000 season currency short, and while some of that can be earned in tournaments (500 per week), most of us don't play those. You're only option is use gold (1 to 1 relationship with the currency) and the DS might be a tank worthwhile to do that. While you can get more currency from bundles in the store, it's cheaper just to use gold at the and of the season.
As for the horror teams, I keep saying it, we need balanced matchmaking. WG loads their supposedly random matchmaking with too many preferential modes, and my long held belief is you get marked to be on the bad teams and this will last a day, then it magically reverses! Only by changing tank or tank type, and tier, do you escape it during a session.
I actually believe PC players makes it easier to rig teams. They are overall better, so removing them from the queue evens out the player pool. Although, the matchmaking will try put you on a bad team, and that's indicated by a long wait time (same as when its trying to favour you). The game should indicate the device types in use. That would tell us a lot!
What is the best device or setup to play wot on?
WOTB allows for fairly old devices. I use a $250 Samsung tablet and a Switch. Many just use their phones, while HRF uses an iPad.
As to setup, the default graphics are typically enough while screen layout is personal choice. Whatever suits you best!

Fatness, how did you get so good? I watch your streams and I try to follow suit the way you play but still a 43% player! I suck most of the time! I see Bushka joined your team, I’d love to see you two playing together! Anyhow great gameplay!
Hey palll, I'm not fatness but I was once one of the top players of the game... Best thing you can do it's to learn what your tank is for. Learn about the armor of your tanks and try to play them in a way you can take advantage from it.
For example, you can only play the Emil I in hulldown positions, because the tank has nice turret armor
Also, usually it's not good for starters to play tanks with no armor (ex: Light tanks) because they require lots of knowledge about map positioning and how to rotate
A good tank to start learning it's the 53tp, you have good armor for sidescraping (trying to bounce bullets by angling the sides of you tank) and also for hulldown (hiding your chasis and only showing your turret)
Which tank is the most effective when your team doesn't do anything in hands of a capable player? In other words, what is the most team-independent tank?
The Super Conq can pretty much do anything. Sidescrape, hull down, has decent DPM, nice HESH, and is just overall very solid for any team.
The m60 can do a lot for a med. Hull down, nice gun, good DPM, and can even sidescrape against oder meds. Or the STB, especially with the premium ap. But I like the m60 more.
@@xfluffytraxy4996 all solid choices which i can agree with. But it's hard to beat the mobility, accuracy/gun handling, armor, and DPM of Obj.907. Recently got that one from a draw and that tank is NASTY.
