IllumiNations is the best. No candle could ever hold a brighter flame in my heart.
This is so much better than Harmonious. I feel like half the time during the Harmonious show I’m watching that octopus thing shoot water out of its tentacles. The soundtrack is also not original. A lot is used from Disney movies. Epcot Forever is an actual fireworks spectacular. They should keep this or, even better, bring back an enhanced IllumiNations.

OH WOW! for a filler show, this one really is moving to me…taking me back to my very first visit to WDW as a high school senior. I find myself singing along with just about every song…only one visit…but so impacted me. So much of the music for the original attractions was so hopefilled and future looking…hard to not be moved by it.
I had to warn a buddy with me when this show was first used pre-covid that I would be tearing up for nostalgia…but then got to watch him awestruck by the fireworks and kites (don’t forget the first incarnation of this show had those neat kites!!). The original lyrics to “One Little Spark," “Tomorrow’s Child,” and “Horizons” just get to me. Then comes the music from the millennial celebration!! (lots of happy nostalgic tears)

This show really is perfect for longtime Epcot fans! Those kites were such an important part of the show, I wish they’d bring them back now that the barges are gone! But even without them, I really love this show and will miss it when it’s gone. Who knows though, maybe they’ll bring it back again some time! Thanks so much as always Rick! 😃
I honestly think that any fireworks show that Epcot does should include the song Imagination because Figment is the mascot of Epcot. He is the figment of your imagination which you could say Epcot’s Imagination. So putting that song would be highly important for Epcot.

Same here, I really love this show! Glad it was brought back, but the new show is supposed to debut before the end of the year. I hope Epcot Forever will still be here when you arrive! I’m not hearing any news on the new show, so I’m hoping it’s delayed

I know this is a very divisive show, fireworks wise it’s not the best. Musically, it’s old Epcot so I love it. A lot of younger or newer to Epcot fans,aren’t going to get it .
I think you said it best Jen! The fireworks definitely aren’t the best, but the music is the heart of the show! It’s crazy how people either love or hate this show, but I guess it makes sense since many have no idea what the songs are from lol. Thanks so much as always!
I agree with you. Our last trip was in 2010 and I feel like this show is missing something. We have family going for their first visit and have shown them previous videos. I feel they may be disappointed including myself.
They should have kept Harmonious. This was very standard. Nothing to get choked up about. By the time I come back in October, hopefully there will be a fireworks 🎆 display to get excited about. COME ON DISNEY!!

Epcot is my favorite park and I got to catch it a week ago while visiting on my 23rd birthday! Got to watch it while eating the fondue from the Alps food and wine booth and teared up at this tribute to my favorite theme park! Thanks for capturing it so well so I can go back to it and tear up again while thinking of that great memory!

They should’ve never got rid of illuminations. I never got to see Epcot forever but I saw harmonious one and was downright disgusted.

🎆So enjoyable, even its brevity, because what it presents gets to the point & is old school. I find myself humming this into the next day. To me, music is a big part of Epcot's shows. The line, Veggie, fruit, fruit, will live on thru these vids. Glad you got YOUR spot on the 4th💥 - that tag is awesome & one of your best fireworks vids. 💜

I agree Liz, I’m so glad this show was made. Illuminations will always be my favorite, but this one is definitely 2nd. It’s funny to me how many old Epcot fans love this show, but guests who don’t care/know about Epcot’s history absolutely hate it and don’t understand it. That’s definitely why this show can’t be permanent unfortunately, but I honestly wish it was(if we can’t have Illuminations). Thank you so much for always being so kind Liz😊

I wish they would have done this show like this did Disneyland forever where each ride got its own section And original auto and projection images mixed in that would have put this show over the top for sure

This firework shows a little on the short side, but I like how it features, the history of Epcot. And it is only a temporary show which I will get to see in a few weeks. For those people who are getting jealous, my Countdown is 15 days away.

I’m glad you’ll be able to see it on your trip! Hoping the new show gets delayed a bit so this one can live on a little while longer lol
The Nostalgia in me wants this to stay forever, however...I do understand why Disney decided to go with Luminous. To be honest so many modern guests to Epcot were born after a lot of the old rides closed so the average guests aren't as tied to them. Disney has learned that allowing their guests to sing along with more traditionally familiar tunes is much more effective for nighttime spectaculars. While Luminous isn't as IP-specific as Harmonius was, and while it does try to pander to the Epcot Fan crowd, it barely misses the mark in the middle. The first minute is pure Epcot in my opinion, however after that, it's pretty standard Disney. However, I will give them credit that they at least tried to weave the songs into the story, unlike when Disney usually does the whole " random best of's" for their shows. Had they tried harder to combine Luminous with this show they would've had something AMAZING on their hands, definitely a worthy successor to Illuminations. My heart honestly goes out to all of those in these comments who said they were excited to see this show this winter only to have Luminous premier this month :( Hopefully this could become a sort of seasonal show. Y'know played yearly around Epcot's Birthday or something like that. Disneyland used to do that with Remember Dream's Come True, so I don't see why not. With a phenomenal score like this is feels wrong to let it be wasted.
Its okay but I dont think it stands up to Harmonious which used the water lights fireworks and just plain fire effects. But thats ok maybe some day they will make something that works long term.

I’d say my favorite resort as of now is Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion! I don’t really have a favorite drink, as I just drink water nonstop haha. Thanks for watching as always!
Harmonious is gone I just don’t like Disney songs with different cultures and different Languages the 50TH Anniversary is gone from magic kingdom

This show was so much better than harmonious!! Harmonious felt like something that should've been in magic kingdom. This at least has some care put into it!

I find it so fascinating how people think this show is better than Harmonious... I completely get that the music and entire vibe of this show is very nostalgic - but its FAR less magical than Harmonious was. This show hits a very niche demographic in my opinion whereas Harmonious hits genuinely everyone from everywhere. Being a musically inclined person also, the music in this is awful in comparison... Harmonious makes me cry LISTENING to the recording without even watching whereas this did neither :(
That said, Harmonious did seem like it was a Magic Kingdom show. But the use of all the different languages from all the countries was just SO innovative. EPCOT Forever just seems really self-obsessive in comparison rip

Exactly. The music and singing in this show hurt my ears. This show is so vanilla. Just meh. Nothing special. It’s “classic” and boring. Harmonious showcased the diversity of the world. Crazy to me how people don’t think that fit in “World Showcase”. I understand the barges were an “eyesore” but the pyrotechnic choreography and music was above and beyond.
