I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle czcams.com/users/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

Suspenders/braces better at bearing loads (belts drag down, braces rest on the shoulders) so they're common in many industries, logging being one of them.
Also, they're significantly more comfortable than belts (especially if you have any fat on you whatsoever) so once you do start wearing them you realise how much better they are and stop caring what people think about how you look.
(p.s. this isn't meant as some sort of argumentative thing, just talking about why they're common.)
