Rutger Hauer always played the villain with perfection. He will be missed, such a great actor.
I like how he pulls the wig off during the confrontation, just in case anybody out there was still a little confused 😂
It was like a wig reveal on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
2:24 I was seeing this movie for the first time in the theater. When Stallone spun around, I shouted out,”F*** YEAH!!!” Half the theater looked at me, the other half applauded.
Gimme a break!
I was only seventeen and REALLY into this film. It was my favorite for a long time.
@airdriver until around 5:years later an At Close Range came out and has held the number one spot to this day.
One of Stallone's most underrated movies
Movie theatre audience went beserk when Sly turned around.
One of my FAVORITE STALLONE MOVIES. The ENDING is PRICELESS.
Agreed 100%! The only time any male actor should be in a dress is a scene like this. None of that trans nonsense going on today.
He was trained in counterterrorism techniques but in the end, it was his skills as a street decoy cop that took the bad guy down.
Exactly how his English friend said it would go. :)
shut up
The look on Wolfgar's face when he sees Deke Desilva is priceless one of the best endings I have ever seen in all my years of watching films😂
I burst out laughing when Stallone turned around. Epic ending, great payoff from the movie's opening scene.
Silly bullshit
When the weak became strong. When the weak got a gun that was a game changer
Never bring a knife to a gun fight
Hehe 2004 The punisher will tell you otherwise 😁😁
A classic example in escalating the tension in a smaller surrounding. Love how l it starts silently then the music builds up with the drum beat before reaching the crescendo with the reveal and face close ups.
Great direction for an underrated movie👍
I think this was his best movie
Definitely one that post the first Rocky was one of his best.
Rutger Haier was number 1 .. he was a good actor in the hitcher. He played as an excellent physchotic killer..
Stallone: "You picked the wrong victim this time."
Hauer: "Ohhhh!"
Imagine when Lindsay Wagner comes home to see Rutger has destroyed her doors and got blood all over the wall. Thanks a lot Sly.
This frightened me a lot when I saw this the first time.
This was my favorite part in the entire movie when it aired in theaters. How ironic that the first clip is it. And 1:42, knowing what's behind those eyes is terrifying.
This movie was scary AF
That was a satisfying and well deserved death. He was a ruthless villain in the movie
Rutger Hauer was one of my favorite actors to watch.
1:33 Damn! Deke DaSilva done frightened the sh** outta Wulfgar! He put the fear into the bad guy.
This movie was so good I like it a lot
Fun fact Stallone look in the film was based on Al Pacino character In Serpico
That explains the reason he looks like Pacino then.
This film was also suppose to be The French Connection 3 but later scrapped.
1000%
except in this scene Stallone's look is based on the Pacino movie Cruising LOL
It looked badass on him. Always wonderes why he never kept it in the 80s.
Great ending to a great movie!
This whole movie was awesome. Front to back.
The Hitcher was fooled. RIP the great Rutger Hauer.
Great film, great cast, great acting and great music. Sly's best. Everyone knew they were working on a gem. And Persis khambatta looked great with hair!!
1:28 . WoW this woman is very beefy . Oups it’s Rambo .
It's a new sensation to me when I see Stallone with a beard. I've seen a picture of him with a beard before, but not during the Rocky days.
He literally has a beard in Rocky IV
But it was around this time he wants to transform his body
Because boxing having a beard is not good. I know most boxers don’t have facial hair really, other that mustaches maybe.
Something I heard about the weapons used by Sky-marshals back in the days. Their bullets were designed not to go through a body, but expand and shatter. So anyone who got shot with one of their rounds was going to get turned into hamburger. I figure since Deke's character (Stallone) is in a police counter-terrorist unit he's bound to have those sort of rounds in his gun.
He’d be a Sly marshal.
Likely just hollowpoints. They tend to expand inside the wound cavity.
Perfect ending. Stallone catches him with his decoy tactics.
It’s actually a good movie, one of few film’s where Stallone has a beard and glasses.
It fits so good for that movie
@@lexkanyima2195 yes it really does
Get Carter he has a beard and wears sunglasses.
@@ethanweeter2732 yeah I thought there are other films he has a beard. In the expendables films he has a beard too
And actually acts truly. Great action movie even by 80s standards.
One of my favorite Stallone movies.
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!POST MORE LIKE THIS PLEASE!!!!!!!
He does
Great film.
Hauer was fantastic as Wulfgar.
One of my favorite scenes from this movie.
rutger first american film...steals the show from sly...underrated classic.
Great ending.
No. He's in a dress. That's breaking your manhood. Better ask happy days, grease and Lord of the Flatbush where that was.. and my hells angel father. 😂😂😂
The only Stallone movie where he looks intelligent. Must be the beard.
It was like a wig reveal on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
It's the sound effects after the gun shots lol
This movie is awesome
Wulfgar was a goner after that first shot. He might've stumbled his way back into the kitchen, but Stallone could've easily sidestepped him. He then would've face-planted dead on the floor. Instead, Stallone is like, "Nah, blasting him out the front door will work better." Love this movie!!
A very great forgotten about 🎥 Still a favorite . Stallone underated
This was a very good movie . It was forgotten as well R.I.P Rutger Hauer
Masterpiece
Such a satisfying ending!!
Back when the good guys always beat the bad guys.
You young folks will never know how loud dial tone really is.
Rutger Hauer comes from The Netherlands !! Greetings from Edwin,Eindhoven,The Netherlands !!
That was my favorite scene! Stallone got him! The guy looked at stallone as if he had seen a ghost
Is a classic scene from this movie Long Live The 80s Baby 😎
Nighthawks.
@@jbjacobs9514 Oh yes a classic eighties movie😎💯
And Sylvester Stallone always played a Hero with perfection too
Stallone’s best
Wulfgar's last thought was"DaSilva is Norman Bates!?"
Who composed the music for this legendary scene in this 1980's American movie? It has some African music elements in it.
@Stefano Pavone He composed the music for the last bit of this movie?
Redo this movie now …. Please please please. Fits today lmao 😂
Fantastic
In the end
We are who we are
1:31 Surprise, Wulfgar!!!
muy buena pelicula alcones de la noche dean william y stallone
The final moment....💯
I would love to see a scene like that in the next Scream movie
Wulfgar went after DaSilva knowing he was going to get blown away.
Did Cape Fear draw inspiration from this scene?
Doubtful, the original was well before this movie. Though the remake could have used this scene I guess. I have never seen Cape Fear.
A gunshot wouldn't echo like that inside an apartment. Great scene, but I hate it when movies use totally unrealistic sounds for firearms.
Hasta la vista baby no wait that's the wrong movie
Linsdey Wagner with Sly's body
HOOOAAAARGH HAARGH😂😂😂
Stallone was ready!
Sylvester was super gorgeous and handsome
So was Rutger 🥰
He put him down with 2 shots.
In the uncut version, he uses all his rounds, and puts one through his head. Shame it got cut before the release.
Rambo vs Roy Betty
GOT EM!!😀
Shame we never got the full violent ending with all the shots of him
Getting blasted. Stallone seems to have a curse with violence being cut. Cobra and Cliffhanger. Wish we had the full uncut scenes. Stupid studios and MPAA. Just give us the goods
I agree. Plus there's more scenes of the shootout at the nightclub that were removed. More people are gunned down, another couple of violent set pieces were apparently butchered too.
Idoc interesting and maybe Dublin visitors diary working on
What's the name of the background music?
It's Unknown
Another overwraught victim of conflicted desires.
Not sure why the gun was in a plastic bag?
It was in the water. Most guns are not waterproof.
hangout on the stoop .......... I need to make a phone call

Yes plzzzz
Aku dari indonesia > i am from indonesian
I saw this scene when I was a kid and I was like woah
"Over The Top" he had a beard and glasses and shaved his head too.
Sylvester Stallone and Al Pacino look the same.
Top 5 Sly movie...
🔝🔝🔝
I didn't know Stallone was in this cheesy horror movie lol
there is another "cheesy" movie
> The Italian Stalion
Horror?
@@anoonknocking it is
@@lexkanyima2195 This is an action movie.
Not cheesy. One of the better action films of the early 80s. Less cheesy than the later Rocky movies. Or the last two Dirty Harry films.
Well, if that didn’t hurt…
2:05 THIS WILL!!! And *that’s* just for the NYPD! Don’t mess with DaSilva, punk.
52 million subs or 900 views ops!!!
Maybe sometime soon, do you think you could maybe do A Quiet Place Part II Movie Scenes when it comes out? :D
Wtf movieclip>pewdiepie in subs
Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
i could of sworn that was John Rambo if she didnt have blonde hair
Rocky Balboa, hey Adrien!
can you do a quiet place 2?
You going to post Downhill Racer yet? I know you’ve seen this comment
Wulfgar knew that surrender wasn't an option. He had made the fatal mistake of being caught red-handed at invading and attempting murder of his enemy's wife in his own home.
No man is gonna stand for such a level of disrespect - especially one with all the reason to kill you.
See? The dress rite is always nice. No man wears a dress. I don't dress as a man.
June 1 is birthday actress Heidi Klum. I remember her from the movie Ella enchanted as beautiful giant lady
Can you stop posting the tricky movies let's go "The Witches (2020)", "Nanny McPhee" and "The Maze Runner"
