- Hello everyone,
This has been a very different kind of summer for many of us who are so used to dancing, singing and recording the highlights of the summer powwow season. But, nonetheless, we here at Drum Hop Express still want our viewers to feel connected to powwow culture despite the obstacle that has hindered us from participating in in-person gatherings.
This video clip is the first of a DHE series, which highlights the top videos and dance styles from powwows ranging from the late 80s to the early 2000s. This is not our personal library of recordings, but footage that we were gifted over time by other dancers who felt that Drum Hop Express was the best platform to share vintage powwow treasures.
