I wonder... how often would you return the same undersized lobsters? Put paint dots on a few... it would be interesting to see the results after a few months! Thanks for taking us along... I enjoy being out there with you!
Thank you for the great comment it is something we have been talking about. We are very conscious that the sea life is very fragile. We wouldn't want to impact that in any way. Marking the lobsters would need be done in such away not to harm them from toxins in paint. Looking into it. Hi King Fisher, We are part-time lobstermen so it is very dependent on time and weather. We work between 40 to 120 traps from May to September. I would guess about 1.5 to 2 ton. Hi Billy, there are hundreds of lobster but in this sting, typically the one we were filming was quite poor. We will get some better footage when we set the boat up with cameras. Thanks for the comment
