- We finally decided to give the MRT a shot in Jakarta, Indonesia, and boy, were we in for a surprise! We'd heard all sorts of things about it, but honestly, we weren't sure what to expect.
But here's the kicker - it was awesome! Seriously, we were pretty stunned. First off, it was so clean and punctual. And the punctuality? Top-notch. No "waiting-for-ages" situations here.
Plus, the whole system was modern and sleek. We're talking about futuristic vibes, folks. The trains, the stations - everything was just super impressive. It felt like we'd stepped into the future of public transportation.
And let me tell you, we wouldn't have discovered this gem if it weren't for your awesome recommendations. You suggested we check out Senayan Mall, and it didn't disappoint. It's like a shopper's paradise in there.
But the real highlight of the day had to be those J.CO Donuts. Holy smokes, they were something else! I mean, we've had our fair share of donuts all around the world, but these bad boys were on a whole new level of deliciousness. We're still dreaming about those sweet, doughy delights.
All in all, Jakarta, Indonesia, you've truly surprised us in the best way possible. It's like every time we explore this city, we uncover a new treasure. Can't wait to see what other surprises are waiting for us here!

0:45 the MRT station is called Bundaran HI. The "HI" stands for "Hotel Indonesia" which currently is Kempinsky Indonesia Hotel. While the term "Bundaran" means a roundabout in front of Hotel Indonesia.
Thats why ppl called that area with "Bundaran HI". Simply means a roundabout in front of Hotel Indonesia.

Jakarta has like LRT, MRT, COMMUTER LINE, and WOOSH (Jakarta Bandung high speed train) and you just tried the LRT and MRT, I hope you guys try WOOSH because it's free in this October 😃

The statue was erected to inspire people to participate in the nation's building, especially the youths of the new nation. The name Pemuda Membangun ("Youth Advancement") was chosen to inspire young people. The design of the statue shows a near naked young man shouting while holding a plate containing a flame above his head, his sinews and muscles strain at full effort. The flaming plate symbolizes youth taking forth light into the future.

You should try the LRT also. You can see the city from above with it. And actually with BRT Trans Jakarta also very convenient, you have to try it.

SPARK was a great place to go especially during sunset and night time - honestly absolutely amazing. And the MRT is awesome. I did stop mainly in Bundaran Hi, Senayan and Istora and also at Dukuh Atas too

The statue you saw on 13:05 is Patung Pemuda Membangun, or Youth Advancement Monument. Built in 1971 to inspire people to participate in the nation's building, especially the youths. The flaming plate held by the man symbolizes youth taking forth light into the future. Often called "Mad Waiter, Pizza Guy or Hot Hands Harry" by foreigners. 😃

Next, you have to visit Central Park, the "Eco Skywalk" connecting bridge in Jakarta, which is also located not far from the HI roundabout. The view there is no less good, it is very busy there because it is a hangout place for all groups. come in the afternoon. 👍👍

Guys.. you should try a mall in South Jakarta named "South Quarter Dome or SQ Dome" which you will find an atmosphere like in Singapore (flower dome and cloud florest Singapore). This is a good idea for the next explore of Jakarta.

My recommendation is that when you are in Senayan, you can try going to the GBK city forest, there you can have a picnic, enjoy a cup of coffee and bread while waiting for the sun set
try watching the football match at the GBK stadium Indonesia vs Brunei on Thursday 12/10 and try entering the Moja museum and touring the Gelora Bung Karno complex

i think you should try all the way to lebak bulus, or maybe stop at cipete raya. and go to nasi padang, pagi sore. if you go there, you should try the ayam pop. near that pagi sore, you could walk to a small coffee shop called, tuku kopi. actually there is some nice cafe and restauran near cipete.

I Suggest both of u guys to come and visit Pantai Indah Kapuk Jakarta where new destination travel was created there. There are so many new place with New Theme such as Chinatown, Batavia, etc. There is also have new beach where is the length of white sands is almost 4 KM length
