There are definitely things I still struggle with since my mind clearly isn't the healthiest and I have to deal with the consequences of having had depression for a long time at a young age. However, to anyone suffering with depression reading this: it can get better. Even if it doesn't go away for you, I hope you can find a treatment that helps you. I hope you can find the help you need and deserve.

And having depression doesn't automatically make one cold. However, I have to disagree with your point of everyone experiencing depression. Everyone may experience feeling depressed for a day or two, simply feeling blue and emotionless. But not everyone suffers through the mental illness that is depression. Saying that invalidates a lot of people with depression and it can be dangerous for those who are undiagnosed as they might think "this is something everyone has. I'm not special. I don't deserve to seek out help for this". Most of my friends, like I, are mentally ill. And I spend a lot of my time on the internet where it's easier to find a lot of others who are also mentally ill. I've normalized a lot of my problems and I even expected everyone else to at least be a little mentally ill. And that's simply not true. Every human can feel sadness, they can have hardships in their life etc. But there's something really harmful about accepting mental illness as the norm. I'm happy it's being more normalized and that it's easier for people to talk about their mental illnesses without being stigmatized, but if you think you're suffering from mental illness, please seek help. And don't think that this has to be your life, don't think everyone else around you is just like you.
When I became an army first people used to call yoongi cold hearted and that he doesn’t care about anyone but tbh I never thought he was cold hearted and I felt really connected to him found him really down to earth and adorable
