You can drill new holes to change your foot position to make it more comfortable.
Love the board. Will probably pick one up soon.

At the end I got it adjusted and comfy. I highly recommend using the red bushings with the NYX Z1 and bindings, it's way more carvy and you really take advantage of the bindings that way.
It's like a Cadillac with the red rear white up front and more like a CTS V with full reds and bindings.
I'm planning on counter sinking the holes for a cleaner install.

Thanks for this. I just got my first mountain-board today (also a Nyx Z1) and picked up the F5 bindings too after hearing they were good. This saved me from retrying multiple times. Now that they're installed it seems obvious, but to a newbie it wasn't.

LOL i put my bindings on backwards the first time also. My feet would not fit in and i couldn't fig it out until i looked at some pics. they need to label the bindings for sure.

How'd you find riding with them? Your stance looks much narrower than I've gotten used to with my Nyx Z1 without bindings. Want the feeling of being strapped in but unsure if I'll get there with my preferred stance. I guess drilling new holes is an option.

I really enjoyed riding with the bindings actually. Once you get everything adjusted it's super comfortable, and you leave them loose during normal riding and snug when off road.
I switched to YOC grip tape and it was phenomenal, with and without the bindings. My suggestion is to give em a shot with the YOC shock absorbing tape first, then if you still want more lock in, add the bindings.
When just riding around on the street, I like the bindings on their loosest setting so I can easily ditch if / when needed.

I thought you put an Xbox on it. 😂😂😂 Then realized it's electric

Do you think you could do a vid on how to put MBS F1 Bindings on a downhill/freeride longboard? I want to make a hybrid deck.

Do you think that wheel will fit on the mbs pulley? I would definitely love to change my fuxmotion at2 wheels to those 😃

Im not sure, they would fit. The gear drive adapter would not be needed, however a bolt in pulley would have to be used. I'm sure it's possible with some creativity.

Keep this rule of thumb in mind. the way that you think it’s going to be its always the backwards way. So however, you want to put it just go ahead and do it the opposite way of that..

I figured it out in the end. I haven't messed with bindings in many years until that point. My last board with bindings was a Burton snowboard back in the late 90s 🤣
But you are correct. It's opposite from how I first tried to install them.
I ended up going with some sick YOC grip tape, 3mm with the channel name on it that worked better for me.
I sold the board when I left Maui, but still have the bindings waiting for my next project. 🤙
