How come this video is not as popular as the other Streaming Tutorials out there. Everything that I'm looking for about streaming is here in 1 video (specially the audio setup part). This video is also well made and each part of setup was separated using chapters. The uploader really deserves more recognition!
Thank you very much! That's our goal, to make straight-to-the-point videos. Please subscribe if you haven't. It will help us make better content in the future ^◡^
Best tutorial I've found so far. Super helpful for a ROG Phone 3 user like me. The wireless mode helps so much since I don't have an Aeroactive Cooler. ❤️Thank you sooooo much, sir! 😊

Hey Guys! We made a follow-up video on the audio setup. The said video is another setup that was suggested by a user named *Neckbeards Anonymous.*
On this new setup, you can use any type of headset or mic, you will only be using one splitter, and you will be able to use one mic for both your PC and phone *simultaneously*.

Been using a line-in aux cable for about a year. My problem with Line-in cables is there's a static noise coming out. I already tried ugreen and vention but no luck. Do you experience static noise when you plugged-in a line-in cable from phone to desktop line-in jack?
Hey, i have a question, the mirroring works but its laggy on the PC when i scroll while on my phone everything is fine. Any fix for this? thank you!!

i dont know what i am missing but should i put scrcpy on local drive??? i did put on local drive and it works well.....when im putting it on other drive it doesnt work at all even im using xiaomi devices
The obs game capture not appearing whenever I use my Bluetooth joystick? What should i do to be able to use both obs and joystick with scrcpy?
I bought a usb sound card but in the "sound" section there is still no "line in" or "mic in" option even in the "realtek audio manager"
how to fix it
works great for me but after i tried it the next day it was not working properly
right after my phone succesfully got displayed on the pc screen i touched the phone screen and everything was distorted as if the screen resolution changed. any fix?
Scrcpy is great but my problem is my phone is heating up when using usb cable is there anyway to disable charging when connected to pc and turn it on when needed?
Is this one with sound just for playing games or will it work also with me wanting to transfer videos from my android phone over to my pc ?
thanksss its worked
Hi, does it exist an app similar to scrcpy for console mirroring with USB cable?
You can also use Bluetooth to transfer sound, but it has small delay
Can you please help me out..I'm having problem with obs mirroring..i add sources to game capture to specific window and scrcpy.exe ..but obs was blank and a red boundary was poping for sec after some time in obs screen.. I can't see my phone mirroring.. 🙏

Hi when i use scrpy with usb connected to pc, and then i connect the audio as you mentioned, and I heard static sound. Is it just mine got this problem? I'm using Mediapad M6.
We've experienced that problem as well. This might be due to the poor grounding of your PC. Try getting a 3.5mm noise filter or find a grounding solution for your PC. We haven't tried both solutions though.
It says 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

Instead of using the the connectors, you can use sndcpy along with scrcpy to get audio on your pc via usb. This way you only need headphones on your phone, you can record the screen and audio on your pc itself.
Yes. That is also a solution. Someone has actually already commented that. However, according to the sndcpy github page, it will only work for android 10 and above.
how ? the sndcpy ??
@@rickycapistrano6750 You can learn about sndcpy here: github.com/rom1v/sndcpy
"sndcpy" -thx so much
The screen was successfully connected, but the audio plays on my phone instead of playing on my computer, is there any solution to this?
Setting up scrcpy works great, but some reason it doesn't show up on OBS at all even when I put in game capture and everything. Just a black screen :(
Doesn't work for me because scrcpy turns off all sound output. How do I fix this?
If im using a laptop, can i directly plug everything into the 3.5 jack or do i have to have a line in adapter?
You can connect it to the mic jack, but you won't be able to use a 3.5mm mic for your laptop. You would need a USB mic. Please like and subscribe if you haven't. That would help us make better videos in the future
@@TwinBin my laptop doesn't have a mic jack, what I'm referring to is a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
@@fourthpascua6903 Oh. In that case, you're going to need two 3.5mm splitters. One for your phone and one for your laptop to separate the mic and audio signals. I would suggest a USB soundcard.
any way of keymapping? Like an external one while still using the usb one cause usb works alot better then wireless.
I haven't read anything about keymapping on the scrcpy page. You can try third party software like AutoHotKey and FastKeys.
can't connect via wifi I get this error No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
I use this program on my tablet and works flawless but for phone not so much because its not in a great condition
But i don't why when i display my phone on pc and put it on OBS , it's very pooor quality even i do the same step as you do.
My phone is oppo f11 and i play DRAGON BALL LEGENDS
Make sure to put "m" at the end of the number when setting the bitrate.
@@TwinBin i did it now , i put -m 2340 -b 16m
It works with a high quality but when i choose window capture in obs the quality is veryy bad even i record the quality doesn't change 😔

Where I can buy Usb sound card with line in ? Im using laptop :) thanks ! Hope you notice me
How to fix the error no device found??
how do I unzip if i don't have an extractor
THANKS BRUH IM ABLE TO MIRROR TWO DEVICES USING SCREENCOPY
Will this work with Adroid Tablet, too?
I am thinking of using Android tablet with a pen as a white board for my class broadcasting through OBS
Since the tablet is also android, I think it will work!
tcpip command doesnt work for me
game is not appearing in game capture, how to fix this?
What if i have a c type phone without a headphone jack
My Sound didnt captured anymore, what can i do
Can we use one more audio splitter mic port as audio input for laptop by connecting splitter to laptop ???
Yes! You can get another splitter for your laptop if it has a 3.5mm combo port. However, you won't be able to use a 3.5mm microphone since you will be using the port as a line-in. If you only have a 3.5mm headset or mic, you will need to get a USB sound card.
What if your phone doesn't have a headphone jack?
Laptop splitter, anx cable, headset or headphone and mobile to work?
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your question. Can you rephrase it?
I love you.
Help me plz
When i connect my device to laptop than only screen and mic sound is coming ,why game sound is not comes?

I'm using a laptop with no blue line in. Any fix?
Connect it to the mic and just use a usb mic OR get a usb sound card.
Do i need to get those audio stuff even if i only want the audio of the phone to be heared?
Hello! If you don't need to use voice chat on your phone, that means you don't need to connect a mic to it. With that, you only need to use the male-to-male cable and connect your phone directly to the line-in of your computer. You can listen to your phone audio through your computer. sir.. pano po ba etrouble shoot kapag:

@@TwinBin sure
How about if walang 3.5 yung mobile phone? Like mine huawei nova 5t. I used splitter kaso di na nadedetect ng SCRCPY yung device ko pag ganun. Any work around regarding this? TIA!
I guess ang only way na lang ay gamitin yung wireless feature ng SCRCPY then use your usb C port for the audio and charging. I'll let you know if we think of something else!
what if there is no line in audio in audio setting?
Make sure your computer detects the cable you connected to your line in. Try opening your PC's audio console. Usually, there will be a pop up message on the bottom right asking what you've just connected.
How do you eliminate the grounded noise in the line in?
You can buy a 3.5mm noise filter, but I can't assure you that it will work. The best solution is to group your whole computer properly. Please subscribe to our channel ❤
@@TwinBin thank you!
Did everything as you explained on the tutotrial and it's working fine when I connect
the phone, but when I open OBS the mirroring starts to get really bad, sttutering a lot. When I close OBS, the mirroring goes back to normal. Any tips on why this is happening?
This happens when OBS is open? Even if OBS is idle?
@@TwinBin Yep! As soon as I open OBS, the sttutering starts and when I close it I can actually see like the frames "catching on" with what it's on my phone screen
Bruh my tablet doesnt have an audio port
any solution for type C users?
only solution I can think of is use a usb c to 3.5mm adapter, or try SNDCPY.
Sir ask ko lang if gagana ba ito sa cod mobile? Gagana ba yung ingame mic ko para makausap yung teammates? tska maririnig dn po ba yung voice chat sa Livestream? Thank you in advance 🙏 Sana masagot nyo po yung Prob ko..
Yes, gagano to sa kahit anong mobile game. Please subscribe if you haven't. It will help us make better content in the future ^◡^
What if my headphones have only one jack
you need another splitter for your headphones. If you don't need a mic, just plug it directly to the audio port on the trrs splitter.

This really is an audio massacre. As a suggestion I'd like to suppose a better option than 2 splitters and cables everywhere.
If you are a reasonably knowledgeable streamer or gamer or conference caller perhaps, you'll typically find USB headsets and microphones are most commonly used. IN THAT CASE you really only require 1 splitter to separate a phones output and mic input. Then for 99% of computers you will have two 3.5mm ports. One for Mic in and another for Headphone out. Have your phones output connected to the 3.5mm Mic in on the computer (acting as Line Input because that's all 3.5mm microphones output anyway) and have your Headphone out jack connected to the phones Mic in.
This is the fun part, you DON'T NEED OBS to route your audio, use windows sound control panel. Go to recording devices, go to your usb microphone whatever it is. Click the listen tab and enable listen to this device but in the dropdown box choose the '3.5mm headphone out' (not your usb headset). This will send your Microphone audio to your phone. Now back to the recording devices you want to open up the '3.5 mm microphone in' and do the same, listen to the device, and specify either 'default playback device' which it should be on by default or to your USB headset. That is all. And if you use OBS you don't need to add anything to your audio list except your microphone and default audio output which OBS selects by default?
And last of all if you have 3.5mm headphones or microphones and don't have the ports in your pc to connect the phone, headphones and mic at the same time. You're out of luck unless you get usb adapters, splitters, an audio streaming app? etc. etc.
And people with 3.5mm headphones and mics that CAN plug them all in, have outputs and inputs where needed, route things around as necessary... well same deal. Use windows sound control panel to get the job done.
Hey! Thanks for this solution. We really appreciate it. Don't worry, we didn't say that this video is the best solution in the world. This is just a solution emulating the Elgato chat link. We're still glad we shared this since it did help some people. Also, the majority of the people we know still use 3.5mm headsets.
I have a few questions about your solution though, as it's hard to understand through just text. We would want to make a video of this once we have the materials.
You had mentioned a headphone out jack in your second paragraph and you were saying connect it to your phone. I thought it was a USB headphone? Maybe I'm missing something about an adapter here?
And on the third paragraph, you mentioned using 'listen to this device' then select the headphone out to send the microphone signal to your phone. I'm kind of confused since, in the second paragraph, you only mentioned connecting your phone to your PC through the PC's mic in. Can you really select an input jack as the playback device on the control panel? I've tried, but I can't select it.
@@TwinBin No problem I'll try again with a bit more detail if i can portray it in text because you're definitely right it can be had to understand without a visual understanding but I'll take it in order.
It's quite unfortunate that the majority of people you know only use 3.5mm, because even in a laptop with only one headphone and one microphone jack can create a full phone streaming setup if your main audio and mic is through USB.
You've made the process quicker with the TRRS splitter though in both situations, that's the key point here and it is essentially splitting up the PHONES 'audio out' and 'microphone in' lines. Yeah you are correct about the 'missing an adapter' part sorry my fault. I'm essentially just saying to use two generic 3.5mm F to M extentions straight to the computer. From the splitter, connect the 'audio out' to the female side of the F/M 3.5mm and the male side to the back of your computer using a 'line in' or 'mic in' jack, and similarly from the 'microphone in' portion of the splitter, this one goes to the 'audio out' jack at the back of your computer. (Or in the case of laptops whichever jacks do which)
And your question to my third paragraph. Each device will be listed as something different, i was trying to say in a simplified way that you can 'listen to this device' through a different audio out which you AREN'T actually listening too through your connected headphones which if you set up cables correctly SHOULD output the microphone to your phones 'microphone in' instead. It's just acting as a go between so you can voice chat in your mobile game with your computer headset.
And heres a quick google pics link to the setup, I'll delete the link in edit after a few hours just because i don't even know which of my gmails is currently linked to it, maybe it won't even work. who knows (edited out for reasons)
@@TwinBin just to make sure, the headphones and microphones you use can be separate, and anything you want them to be. You just have to determine what they are called and use the 'listen to this device' from the right sources.
This allows you to use your solution without even having obs open. And the obs audio settings will only need to have your default audio device and default mic to receive the same sounds when you DO stream
@@taxa1569 Thanks a lot for the clarification! We really appreciate it. We'll test it out as soon as we get everything that's needed. We'll try and make a video about it too.
@@TwinBin No Problem, i created an album with my pic from earlier, and another pic to outline the windows settings as an example, check it out and save them while you can. I'll do the same thing with this link though, this comment will be edited later on to remove the link created, even though it'd be fine to keep it there I'm sure. If you do make a video of the process then my pics won't be needed from then on ;P

On which part po yan?
Hi what if po kung earphones lang gagamitin mo? what to do? please reply po.
Hi. Kailangan mo po ng additional adapter for your earphones. Please subscribe if you haven't.
