Yehuda Green singing Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach Birchas Rosh Chodesh at a Melava Malka Kumzits in Williamsburg

The melody was composed by Rebbe Shaul Yedidya Elazar ztvk"l of Modzitz, the second Rebbe. It was set to "Kah Ribon" and later adapted by R. Shlomo to Birchas HaChodesh.

The second half is R. Shlomo's tune, originally set to "Vha'areinu" from Birchas HaMazon said on Shabbos, later also used for "Mizmor L'David."

It took me quite a while to learn Yehuda's (Reb Shlomo's) kiddush..I think it may take 2x as long to learn this..
