Love this film! The twist at the end was perfect!!
Dakota really did do a great job in this movie; I don't know how they could have cast the role better. I can see a lot of other young actresses being out of place here, but she is pretty believable. Plus it added an extra something to get an actress who had past history with Denzel, considering what we learn about her character at the end.
(Also re the confusion between DIA and CIA- the DIA is what McCall and Susan Plummer worked for, but Emma and Frank work for the CIA).

Title is misleading...it's actually the CIA not the DIA. She works for the "Agency" which is how the CIA is referred to in the community circle.
It’s the poster’s fault. When McCall calls, Collins acknowledges McCall’s calling into the CIA.
It could be a typo or it could be Defense Intelligence Agency, which I think is actually Defense Intelligence Service. I imagine all the intelligence agencies operate on different levels together. This is essentially a criminal investigation that would be kept quiet during the actual investigation but once concluded will probably be in the papers, so not super covert. Operating on foreign soil, working with local law and/or military. Kinda makes sense.
In reality, this a film,filled fun buzz-words. May you ever be perpetually in darkness living blissfully unaware. Cheers.

Weird to watch an actor or actress you have seen grow up feels like you know them even though you know nothing about them. I’m rooting for her to be successful im a big fan of her movies as a kid im sure she’s got a bright future especially if Mr Washington is involved.

The reason why it's the CIA, not DEA here is apparent when you know who McCall called. Also, he didn't know about the drugs, only that there was something happening at the farm more than he knew and decided to call someone he trusted that would chase it down.
