I always saw this country as great, but the way it’s going now I can see the corruption everywhere. My husband and I have already talked, if this country continues how it’s going, we will be moving. My friend is from El Salvador and back in 2018 she said she felt she would never ever go back to visit their family because it was getting bad. She just went back again in 2023 and said it's the best she's ever seen it. She said she was able to go out past 6pm which was the first she's ever been able to in forever. God bless this man.

Like he said on his Russia Trip, We just have to sometimes ask ourselves to our own interpretation despite russia being an enemy (to you), despite sanctions and the war, why are the shop prices are all cheap? That's an example, they just need to show you what's happening and leave it up to peoples' interpretations.

@@MsElke11 that’s a good question. Maybe by eliminating the MS13 which worked with the cartels, left the cartels with no inside contact. I do have heard that he has received lots of threats, but it’s probably too late for the cartels, maybe for now I should say. Hopefully not. There was a guy last year from Ecuador, that was friends with Bukele, and Bukele was his mentor. He was running for president in Ecuador and had the same ideas and principles as Bukele, He got shot and killed before the elections. The difference between both was that Bukele came in quietly, but the guy from Ecuador started threatening to finish with the cartels, gangs and corrupt politicians in Ecuador, in his campaigns. But yeah, it does makes you wonder, if he cut some type of deal with them. It happened in the city where I was born and grew up, that the mayor cut a deal with one of the city’s big time drug dealer, and it brought peace to the city.

He is destroying his country, and you have to remember, you have hundreds of thousands of people, especially young people who are caught up in his drug war who are being traumatized in his prisons, and will eventually be back on the streets. These people will utterly destroy El Salvador and make it into a failed and violent state.
No education, no jobs, no mental and physical health care, nothing but cruel and unusable punishments which for a short while will bring a pseudo law and order, but in the long run will make El Salvador unlivable.

@@al9017 , do you think bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the solutions, or are they the inevitable route to CBDC's, something I think spells the end of humanity. The entire point was initially sold to us as a form of monetary decentralization, but I do wonder if it's all a scheme. I can't help but wonder if it's a long-term plan that will aid in the collapse of the dollar. I wonder if ultimately, centralization of digital currency alongside global governance initiatives is the ultimate goal of many of the people involved in this tech.
