  • Warning: anyone thinking of removing your Banana Racks BUD/FLOWER DONT!
I recently made a video about whether you should remove your Banana Bud.
We now had a Group Member make a post of his Banana Rack withering and dying within 10 days after he removed his Banana plants, Bud.
I know this is a controversial subject because many people post talking about removing the bud saves energy for the rack to grow. Well, tell that to one of our group members who just lost his entire rack because he removed his bud.
I have been saying this for years and get a lot of static about it. But it's true. So if you have a nice Banana rack forming, how would you feel if after cutting off the Bud your rack started to wither away killing your entire rack?

NATURE RULES and humans should listen and learn more rather than ruining a perfect process that supports all. Nature wouldn't make a flower continue production and growth if it didn't serve a purpose. Watch, Learn and Observe... There's Perfection in Nature. When man gets involved, thinking he knows better or has better ideas and making things easier for him, always refer to the #1 rule of Nature Rules.

So crazy.. I’m actually in your banana group on Facebook and I just yesterday discovered your CZcams channel lol. I love the content and I will be ransacking all your videos for the knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to share your tips and knowledge. 🙌🏼 I’m 35 in tarpon Springs and I have about 42 fruit trees. I have 7 banana trees.

Makes sense to leave it on. Don’t know why anyone would want to risk it as it serves no purpose and you risk losing a rack after all the time getting the banana to even produce bananas

Because I can make amazing dishes out of the banana flower. It's a delicacy in SE Asian cuisine - ask any Indian, Vietnamese, or other people who know the taste and how to cook it.

Sam, I noticed one of my flowers is getting mildewy. I’m not sure if it is not getting enough sun because I have another tree in front of it and my house behind it or what. Any thoughts on what I should do? Also my bananas never mature. Anything to help them plump up?

I should add that when I see some bud peddles not falling off I help them out some. Thanks for looking out for me :-)
