Yeah my hair is about that long and trying to get it up in anything is.. 🤣 the only thing strong enough to hold it is itself!
My mum does her bun like that, though it's lower towards the neck (she's from India), her hair is about waist length. She twists it and then wraps it around her hand and then pulls the middle through into a bump. (Man it's super hard to explain 😆). I know how to do it but my hair is only shoulder length so it doesn't work.

In Belgium we say a "dot". Sometimes people also say "knot" (here you pronounce the k) but I don't know the difference and I also don't use it. But most of the time people say "dot".

Re: cutting your baby's hair while they sleep....I can relate lol! I used to cut a bit at a time, then in about a day or so the cut was finished. My daughter is autistic, and she had trouble at the time staying still💕☺️

I use the ponytail method to give myself a fake mohawk sometimes. It works very well with long hair and the best part - not permanent.

I've learned (after many years of failure) to leave my hair alone. It's long, healthy, my natural color, and my natural texture, which is beach waves. I enjoy watching these videos because I can watch other people destroy their hair while I get to wake up with no regret 😸
I shaved my entire head after it was just so dead and now I only go to my hair dresser and go every 2 months. I have highlights and they’re simple and easy on my hair and I love it. My hair is so thick now that I stopped messing with it myself.

When I had long blonde highlighted hair for over 35 yrs ( I' m now 55 with natural long dark blonde hair) the only time my hair went a dirty khaki green because of the chlorine from swimming ...the tomato ketchup trick completely got my hair back to a nice blonde.& neutralised ugly pigments

I've given myself spaghetti hair once. I put the lightener in, covered my head with a bag, and left it there. For an HOUR. I have extremely fine hair, and it was already pretty light. I think it took a whole day to dry completely. Of course this was before I went to cosmetology school and learned better, but every time I see someone in these videos give themselves spaghetti hair, I remember how awful my hair felt and how much I wanted to just shave it off 🥲

The last one I can relate too. I alsways color my natural dark brown hair with box dye but never had a problem but I always use the same two colors soooo. The first one is also a blue/black so that my hair stays dark and only has a blue tint/shimmer and the other one is like a reddish eggplant purple idk situation that actually works quite well lol. I ALSO impulsively just tied my hair up in a hair tie below my chin, pulled the hair tie down a little, and just cut it off beneath the hair tie 😂 and so I went from butt length to shoulder length, i turned out pretty good lol so up until now I got lucky with my stupid ideas 😂😂😂😂
The green hair dye one it is because hair reflects like a prism so not all colors mix and reflect the way just normal paints do. It's how blue can sometimes run through purple. I really wish that a certain retail giant here for hair color would train their employees to stop telling people to go directly to the contrasting color 🥲
