Worth mentioning some first gen have tweeters as well. My 1995 has them. Thanks for the info as I’m sure this applies the same.

Yes, the Limited/Special/M-Edition 1st gen Miata's had an upgraded Pioneer speaker system with a tweeter mounted up high in the door cards. We go over that specific setup in another of our videos: czcams.com/video/ZuToNVxn824/video.html
