Saw them live about dozen times and even got to meet Mike to talk about his guitar set up.Amazing band that were just as powerful as the Angels,Tatts,Oils etc but had ska/reggae influences as well as some lovely melodic ballads.The song Mission Man reminds me so much of a homeless man I talked to in the park near Central Station Sydney in the 80s and yes there was pigeons around us.The Spy’s lyrics hit home on so many levels Credit Cards to this fantastic song Harry’s Reasons about heroin.R.I.P Mike.

Hi Laneway. Just a quick question. Approx 6-8 months ago you released a remastered version of Spys Harry's Reasons album onto iTunes. with a slightly different track listing (order) to it. What happened to this? It literally was on there for about 2 weeks and then totally disappeared?!?!? Are Laneway planning on re-releasing it again? It sounded amazing and it would be awesome if all of there albums were remastered and re-released.... Please let me know. Cheers.
Hi wjd17spy, it wasn't remastered, they were the same versions, and there was a technical error in the upload that threw the track order all over the place. We deleted it and redistributed it with the correct track listing. That said - some news might be on the way soon on hi-def versions....keep an eye on the Facebook page.

I think this is their finest song. Many bands have tried to capture heroin use but his one grabs the destruction superbly
