He was a big time lawyer who settled multi million dollar lawsuits against companies for negligence, so the victims he was taking from were widows and orphans of plane crashes, and burn victims from gas line explosions, etc. By the time it all came out, she had filed for divorce, he had Alzheimers so there was basically no ramifications for him. Although he did lose everything and is in an assisted living home now, Erika lost a lot but was still rich... there was a lot of question on how much Erika was actually involved and if she even knew.
Yes I just adore Erika and she didn't deserve one thing what she went through for all of those years for Tom and the world, that did to her at the end of that heartless, lengthy marriage! .. She's such a fighter and deserves what she wanted most "to finally be free" as you said. 🙆❤

Just before the news broke of this, she filed for divorce and showed no empathy towards the victims who didn't receive their settlement money. These were families of the a plane crash victims, a young man who was severely burned and lost his gf in a gas explosion, and much more.

It was noted by one of the haters that people were creating fake profiles in an effort to bolster their sides. These fake profilers were called "Socks", I guess because they were in hiding...? It's all very childish in hindsight but when her supporters came after me, I lamented that I was a "sock magnet!" Sorry it wasn't a better story!

OMG, Seeing and hearing Brandi so insecure, her need to feel 'special for a moment' again just was so eye-opening. How this need drives her behavior and her relationships ....her whole personality, just unbelievable. I stopped watching Real Housewives long time ago because of how the behavior of the woman, I mean if I were at a restaurant or some other public place I'd leave, I wouldn't want to be around it. So WHY would I have it in MY OWN HOME!
Anyway the main point for me is I really, really hope Brandi will see this herself, she deserves to feel special because she is, but she'll never feel it in the way she wants & needs until she feels it in and for herself. I actually hurt for her watching this. Thanks Tyler, Brandi.

I still don't understand why Erica hasn't shown any real compassion for her husband's victims. If she truly cared she wouldn't be fighting so hard to keep million dollar earrings (or any other gifts of value that Tom gave her). I'm sure that the clients whose settlements were stolen need that money way more than Erica's ears need to be draped in diamonds. Some of these poor souls still need surgeries, medical care and assistance, therapies, etc. How she can reconcile herself to wearing something for decoration when it can be sold to fund the aid of someone in severe need is beyond anything that I can fathom. Frankly, it disgusts me.
Erika was in a verbally abusive and neglectful relationship with Tom since the first season of RHOBH which I am sure did not start then. As someone who is educated and has worked in the mental health field my whole adult life, I can tell you she is guarded out of necessity and as a coping skill. If you think Tom’s multiple affairs, verbal abuse and complete control of their financial situation does not cause trauma you are wrong. Erika was strongly advised by her attorney(s) to not speak about her situation. She was attacked repeatedly by social media and the media adding to her trauma. She is forced to keep a strong face during the nightmare she is living. Erika has commented on her reactions seen on RHOBH while be attacked relentlessly and regrets the way she has responded at the time. Her legal problems are not over and she is forced to keep a stiff upper lip.😮 Tom was controlling and I can tell you many women are not privy to the family finances. Women buy into the happily ever after and give up control of finances when they marry. Erika was not involved in Tom’s law firm. I think she does care about the victims but she is also is dealing with realizing Tom hid a lot from her and betrayed her. After Tom’s trial and her divorce is final, as well as considerable counseling she may decide to speak out further in support of the victims but she cannot do that now for multiple reasons. This is a horrific Situation for the victims. She is dealing with the reality that she did not truly know Tom and is dealing with mixed emotions about the whole situation, including anger for being lied to and put in this situation by Tom. I hope the victims get the compensation due them because their lives will never be the same. The victims will be dealing with their health issues, betrayal and trauma for the rest of their lives.
Erika is a mean self centered person who cares for no one but herself. I hate her.
She’s a very very clever woman and has wormed her way out of it somehow she’s definitely a narcissist… no compassion for anyone but herself which she even said herself

As I read your post - some of what you said may be true. And she is not an angel. She did realize that her career was enhanced by money. She also said her beauty helpers 40K a month. Remember on Housewives she said - she did not care about anyone but herself - and Anyone that behaves the way she does is NOT respectful of people who are struggling and need legal payment. We all have a dysfunctional side however she is selfish and controlling. My View.
