Please, I'm just starting to make earrings and I'm seeing all kinds of comments on Amazon faux leather with white backing, I dont like it . Some people are complaining about the faux leather stinking. It's just hard started out and not knowing the better products

Pricing is always the big question. Ive found people will just not pay what the jewelry is actually worth, especially by the time you figure in your time spent making it. I price all of the leather earrings between $8 - $10 depending on what materials I have in them. They are worth way more than that, but Ive found people will just not pay the price.

Hey Heidi! The cork stuff is over with the huge rolls of vinyl and stuff. It was pretty expensive but it goes on sale every other week.
You need an extra jump ring attached to the ring on the leather itself to make the earrings hang and move freely. That is why you are having issues.

The dies are from Crafters Edge, the cork from Hobby Lobby was in the section where you can buy upholstering fabric on the big huge rolls

This leather did not stink at all but some of it does have the soft white back. I like it, so it didn't bother me.
