Cerium oxide is used, based on the size of the particles, as an abrasive for scouring, grinding or, in super fine particles, to polish glass and glass lenses. It (cerium)is technically called a rare earth metal but is common.
The type of pliers is different. They are shaped like a diamond on the inside so the jaws don’t touch at the center. It is much better for breaking scored glass.

phones or camera
very nice information .
I remember watching this episode as a kid and being amazed when the camera man apears reflected on the mirror lol
LOL! "special tools." they were using pliers
DrowsyEel exactly what I said when I saw the video😂😂
Leo Nardo Oh I know they wouldnt use regular pliers. That would damage the glass.
DrowsyEel I work at a glass shop and yes there special glass tools just for that any other use will damage the pliers
who's the chick?? I want the regular dude. :(
mariekt same her voice is annoying
Yeah fuck that bitch!
This version was broadcast in the show's native Canada. The dude we all know is only present in the American broadcast. And the British broadcast has had the same narrator since the beginning.
She sounds like a scratchy robot
@@yaboyblacklist2431 you can tell by the way she pronounced "process", with a hard o
Superb.....
I always wondering about this. Finally I found this

Nick Vance same
For everyone wondering the "special tool" is a pair of glass pliers, never grab glass with regular pliers trust me.
This really makes me reflect on my life choices....
The single line drawings are divine
Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the most annoying narrator of them all?
had to scroll way to long for this.
Seriously she sucked
The narrator isn't nearly as bad as the intro music! Although it sounds off key it is a familiar sound and I wouldn't change it!!
She didn’t write the script
Her voice makes me mad
Wow think about how a lot of the people of the past never got to know how their face looked...
It's not the same tho
TopCuntKelvin you know what this is probably why rich people always had their maids do their makeup and hair because they didn't have mirrors so they couldn't see themselves!
TopCuntKelvin I only said so because I watched this old Korean show and it was probably set around 100 A.D and they had servants help them get dressed and put on makeup but it's probably hard to do that without a reflection
Water reflects too you know :)
+Praise Yahweh They used obsidian back than
That's really brilliant!!!
Looks amazing
Ya But I doubt if the same process is used in India
