OLOH has become one of my favorite channels. The M/Y ICW lifestyle may be one of those 'dreams I'll never see', so I can live vicariously through you guys. Cheers.
You're too kind. And it was a dream for us until it was reality. So... you never know!
Enjoyed the video, is there such a thing as boat envy??????
Thanks for having us aboard.
Our pleasure Jerry - so glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely love your videos! I actually LOL'd when he said "pot drawer" and then quickly said "pots and pans".
Ha! You're the first to say something about that. We chuckled too. Cheers!
Nice mods guys and great to see some Kiwi appliances in your galley, congrats from down under 😎
Really appreciate that! And we can’t say enough good things about our F&P cooktop 😄
So many boats have our Kiwi products,so good to see.
Need part 2 immediately! Perfectionists about everything is an understatement. Bravo!
Thanks Ruffin! Part 2 this weekend...
I think that this is class "A" presentation! Thank you!
Thank you. We really appreciate that.
I like that Tim says ‘pop’ & not soda. I’m a Midwest guy too, so nice to hear
Great to see you guys back! I agree with other comments about the classic lines of OLOH…timeless and classy!! I can’t wait for more videos.
Thanks for that Tod. We think it’s interesting that our personal aesthetic is decidedly more modern but there is something about those classic lines that speaks to us. Cheers!
Glad to see you guys again. I love to hear how people modify their boats to better fit there needs. BTW, I've owned an appliance repair company for 25 years now. I do not live near the east coast but I'd be happy to offer any advice I can.
Thanks Ronald - that's very kind of you. Glad to hear you enjoy seeing what we're doing.
Holy fridge!! Sure beats the dorm size fridge in my boat! Keep the videos coming
Boats are a collection of compromises but with amount of time we planned to spend aboard (along with the kind of cooking Tim does) we knew we couldn't live with a smaller fridge when we moved into this size vessel. Cheers Jason!
Thanks for the tour! Oloh is a beautiful boat with timeless lines. Can't wait for the next parts.
Thank you! Part 2 next week...
@@OLOH just turned on notifications for your channel. I'll be waiting :)
Hi AJ & Tim, Thanks for the awesome tour ! Love OLAH's classic "timeless" design, spacious layout & functionality . A beautiful looking yacht inside & out . Love your passion & the way you both work together as a team . God bless . Mark (Toronto) 💔🧡💛💚💙💜
Thanks Mark. She really is a well balanced vessel that we feel fortunate to own. Appreciate the kind words. Cheers!
Jasper has a great personality!
😀
Without a doubt another delightful video from the OLOH crew!! Really like your back deck...especially the way the platform is designed. How convenient for either port or starboad boarding without having the steps in the way! You can tell that a ton of thought and planning occurred to produce such a great galley...yes we even went online and bought the cabinet lighting you did from Amazon. Really liked the idea...wish we had thought about doing that years ago! Jasper seemed to have a loss of words when asked to continue with the galley presentation. Obviously he likes segments that are scripted!! Thanks again guys for entertaining and informing us! George and Donna
George and Donna - we’re so glad you enjoyed the video and even happier that we turned you on to one of those simple little upgrades that can make a big difference (our favorite kind). Since we got into cruising boats we’ve always been intrigued by different designer’s approaches to balancing it all. While there will always be compromises, as you know, we do really feel that David Shaw got so much of it right when he penned this design almost twenty years ago. As for Jasper, he’ll shut the production right down if he’s not getting the attention he desires at any given moment. And we wouldn’t have it any other way 😊
I have to agree about the crushed ice and coke!
😋
Looks fantastic! What a floating home!
😎
Pineapple Rum. A man after my own heart.
😎🍹
Great job, loved the drive by at the end.
That’s dock life! Thanks Larry.
Really enjoyed this episode. And you are always a winner with a dog on board.
Thanks! And yes, Jasper makes it all worth it.
My wife and I like a perfect cocktail also. Most everything we drink goes in a Yeti cup. Small or large. No more drinks being watered down. Drinks stay colder so long. Plus none of your dock mates have any idea what your drinking. 😊
Love it! We do enjoy glass on board but we don’t do a dockwalk (or Whaler ride) without our Yeti 😎
You guys are the absolute best!!! If you are ever in need of any help near Madeira Beach FL on the west coast, please let us know, would be glad to help in any way possible! Or stop in for a few cocktails!! Keep up the great videos, and please reach out to me first if, and when you guys ever decide to sell your amazing vessel!!! Have a great day and be safe!
Thanks so much Stephen - very kind of you. Cheers!
Glad to see you guys back on the Tube. It’s been a while. As always, great content, masterful presentation.
Really appreciate that. We'll be back with Part 2 next week.
Two great guys and a wonderful boat! Thanks for the tour but can't wait to see the rest. Love the galley and back porch.
Eh, the guys are OK. The dog is really cool 😎 Thanks Stewart!
18:22 The pup pup is so stinky cute
Nice presentation …. Both of you guys are naturals
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed!
You guys have a truly beautiful boat with an amazing layout. I admire the way you meticulously maintain OLOH. You’re always doing it right, staying on top of all systems, researching your options for replacement items and various upgrades and thinking things through… the aft galley in particular, is a great feature that is both extremely functional and ideally placed. Love it!! If you ever find yourselves in the market for a new vessel, by all means, please let me know
Thanks David - we really appreciate that. OLOH definitely ticks off most of the boxes for us right now - glad you like it!
We love that model keurig
☕️😀
Man-o-man, you guys really love that fridge… 😂
Did that come through 😅?
Beautiful yacht, can't wait to see the rest.
Thanks Thomas! Part 2 next week.
Awesome yacht. Very well laid out. Love the galley location. Really love the remote docking. So cool
Thanks Kevin! We do love it.
We have been waiting for this tour for a long time.Great job guys .What a wonderful boat .Hope to have one this size one day
Finally back. You have a big fan in Oslo, Norway 👍👍
Finally! Tusen takk!
What a beautiful boat you guys have and love your galley upgrade refrigerator. Your videos are always so well made and interesting. That is why I am always looking forward to your next one. BTW I'd take one of your OHLO drinks anytime. Cheers!
Thanks so much Michael - we really appreciate it. Cheers to you!
We were at Catskill Marina 4 days ago and saw your sticker on our power pedestal. You have a beautiful boat.
Thanks so much Rich. Hope you had a good stay there and we're sorry we missed you. Are you looping or...???
We’re about 2/3 thru the loop. We started in Holland, Mi 2018 and got to the Chesapeake. We are just resuming this spring and should cross our wake in September
@@richselo9007 Fantastic. Enjoy the rest of your adventure!
Super and informative video. Please keep your experiences coming.
Thanks General! Glad you enjoyed - more on the way...
Ditto on the crushed ice, Tim.
😁
For you back deck you should look at marine mat. Doesn’t get hot in the sun and they also make a snap in version for easy cleaning and replacement.
Gorgeous vessel!
Thanks TC!
Glad to see you back. I was beginning to think you sold the boat.
Thanks Roadstar. Not anytime soon!
Welcome back!! I miss your videos!
Thanks! More on the way...
I've been waiting for a new post!
Thanks for hanging in there!
that boat is Too Cool
the mega mega yachts I see on utube
with 2 pools and a heliport are foolish
yours is fun - stay safe - I want to see Part 2
Thanks. There are all kinds of boats for all kinds of people. OLOH strikes just the right balance for us. At this moment 😄 Cheers!
that's well put
all kinds of boat for all kinds of people
Maybe it would be hell if everyone wanted the same boat
and the price got bid up to 8 mill. ha ha
Just found your channel--what a vessel! Gorgeous! Very well done video as well.
Thanks Matt! We really appreciate that and are so glad you found us 😎
@@OLOH When you tire of cruising, I think you two have a business model to refit yachts!
Fantastic in-depth tour and explanations, really appreciate the level of detail!!
And we appreciate your appreciation! So glad you enjoyed it.
Grew up saying “pop” as well Tim.
Love it!
Hey there Great episode Loved it!! Very good improvements you’ve made Love the interaction between you two...very sweet very playful no pretends very enjoyable to watch ...Can’t wait for part #2 See y’a in July ... Enjoy summer
Thanks Andy - you’re too kind. Part 2 on 6.19!
Thank you for this tour! I give it a 2 thumbs up on editing and presentation. We are still working on getting our Magellano 66 and I'm seeing some must needed add-ons that you brought up.
So glad you enjoyed it! Please keep us posted on your new yacht.
Great tour of the boat, looks great. One thing I would keep an eye on is the LG fridge. I purchased two of the high end LG's Inverter linear fridge's and they are the worst I've ever owned. Both under 5 years old and already need to be replaced. They just lost a large class action lawsuit because of how many problems they have.
Hey Scott - thanks for the kind words and advice on the LG. As we mentioned, we absolutely love how well the fridge has worked for us so far. Our decision to go with it was buoyed by the fact that a couple of high end yacht builders were using them in new builds at that time (how could they possibly make a bad decision 🤪?). But that, of course, was before their issues became known. So far so good other than the disco light so we'll hope for the best and see how it goes.
Ya saw one catch on fire, while i was sitting in the kitch
I am jealous very nice boat. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much Cliff!
OK, OK, we are really jealous of the galley.
Well we look forward to enjoying with you guys in person some day. It works particularly well at anchor in the Bahamas. Cheers!
Have you seen Part 3 yet? You really, really should 😎
I was so delighted by your tour…especially the galley. Can you remind me what is the ‘ringing’ the bell signify? We have a GB 49 classic and I visualize a stand up LG frig but it seems anathema to the GB classic style. What were the LG engineers thinking when it came to programming the ‘knock knock’ feature?? Looking forward to touring more of your lovely vessel.
Hey Catherine - the bell rings whenever it's time to make a toast and let the cocktails start flowing. Needless to say, we have a pavlovian reaction every time we hear a bell 😄.
Having a standup fridge is great on a boat like ours but we think a set of drawer fridges would be a really nice upgrade that could possibly work well on a classic 49. Perhaps they could hide behind that cool wood fridge door or you could have the drawers outfitted with the classic wood panels.
As far as the "knock knock" feature, great in concept but flawed in execution. We have learned that it's a fairly common issue. But it's always a conversation starter!
I've been mulling over for TEN years how to remodel my home kitchen. Space was a premium but I wanted it to be a full-fledged "chef's" kitchen. After much debating over the cooktop, and where I could possibly put an oven - this wall, or that wall, or under that counter, etc. I came across an article on kitchen design and it struck me with one simple statement: separate ovens are the least space-efficient thing you can have in your kitchen. The old standby all-in-one oven-range cooktop is the most space efficient appliance.
And sure enough, once I factored a standard range into my kitchen, everything else made into place. So perhaps consider putting a standard oven/range in the kitchen, and relocate the dishwasher. In fact, if you don't mind giving up that little desk to the right of the fridge, perhaps you could fit a standard dishwasher there instead.
I loved everything but the soy
Ha! Sorry 'bout that.
Lekker man lekker
Dankjewel!
i was wondering when your next video was coming.
Try coconut rum with pineapple juice. Even better.
Oh yeah! That's a favorite of ours as well. Cheers!
Thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you Charles. We're happy you were able to join us.
Hi guys, great channel! Do you know what brand dishwasher you have? I'm looking for something like that for my boat.
Hi David and thanks! Our dishwasher is a Fisher & Paykel but we would encourage you to look at other brands. There are lots of options in drawer dishwashers and some that are commonly used on boats today (GE makes what we hear is a reliable drawer dishwasher). Let us know what you decide on.
Hahahaha what a fantastic feel good video, you guys come across so well, roll on part 2
Thanks Paul - you're too kind.
I didn't catch the brand for the induction cooktop, could you send me that info.? My first induction cooktop had the same setting, as you mentioned, it keeps things warm with out burning them up. My current unit does not have that feature and I am very disappointed. Thanks for the info...................
Our pleasure! It's a Fisher & Paykel four-zone induction cooktop. We've had it on board for just over three years and it has performed flawlessly. We're really pleased with our choice and you'll find a link to the current version of what we have here: myoloh.com/the-boat
Cheers!
Can you provide link or info on toster oven that did turkey. I need that.
Hi Jackie. We've posted links to some of the items featured in this video at myoloh.com/oloh-tv-your-vip-tour-part-1/. Here's the toaster: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014D9LBCY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Cheers!
@@OLOH thanks. Hate to cook, so I dont mind no oven. Husband wants the turkey. Good price too
What manufacturer made those screens. Love em. Want them for MY TIME
Are you asking about the roller screens on our aft deck?
@@OLOH I saw the post from someone else. Love em
What was the motion-sensor light from Amazon?
Hi William. We've posted links to some of the items featured in this video at myoloh.com/oloh-tv-your-vip-tour-part-1/. Here's the link to the lights: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N3BZ9DT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Cheers!
@@OLOH THANKEE. Ordered some.
🥳🥳🥳🥳🍾🥂👍👌🏽🤟🏽
What brand are the roller schrrens on back deck.
They were purchased from purchased from Blindster.com and are the Deluxe Exterior Solar Shades with 5 Percent Openness.
Nice boot, who's tim??
You guys liking your alcoholic beverages why didn't you get the lg fridge that makes the craft ice?
Ha! It actually wasn't on the market yet so we have to make our craft ice the old fashioned way.
My wife is throwing the BS flag on you saying that you can keep spinach in your LG for a week or longer. You guys do have a neat layout on the OLOH.
Sorry Mike - penalty overturned. Admiral confirms three weeks, no BS. Flag denied - TD for LG (or for magic spinach). But 15 yards to you for your kind words about OLOH's layout 😁
@@OLOH Where are you guys, she wants to see this refrigerator that keeps spinach fresh for 3 weeks
Hi jasper
Hi back from Jasper!
The bell-ringing is cheesy……. I’d lose that
No no love the bell !!🤓🤓
