After having JL 13w7’s ………I thought there really wasn’t anything even close…….but……omg my dd9950’s are absolutely shocking…….I was completely happy with my JLs but when I finally needed to replace the surrounds…….I knew it was gonna take a while….so….I bought the dd’s……..absolutely better than the JL’s….
Even with “supercharging” your flux paths from the magnet are not equal- that is to say that unequal flux paths reduce the overall strength of the entire magnetic circuit . Your paper clip demo reveals the flux path leakage.
When you said that’s like super charging something that’s already been turbo charged been there done that . I turbo charged my CTSV with a supercharger already on it.
i have dd audio 12inch subs redline series my break in not right sometimes have something sounds coming out so i less the bass of subwoofer and low the volume to 18 but my adroid head unit have 30 volume level
Can I add another magnet on the back of my subwoofer? Whatever kind? Get same results ? MOST IMPORTANTLY just want to know how to break in my subs.... They are sooooooh stiff and just don't loosen up.... Almost 20hrs now and everything set @ 0....
That DD tech guy in the video said it doesn't make sense to add a supercharger to something that is already turbocharged... like cars? It's called Twincharging! Not twin turbo charging, as that is different. Twincharging is the addition of adding a positive displacement supercharger and an exhaust driven turbocharger(both systems at the same time) to a car. The engine has to be have the strength to handle the higher PSI's with stronger internals... but the result of having both a supercharger and a turbocharger to a car is less turbo lag and/or the ability to run a larger turbocharger due to the higher exhaust pressure the supercharger puts out. Most of the time, the PSI's are multiplied instead of simply added.. ie 2+2 = 6 or 7, instead of just 4
No to everything you asked. Why would they supercharge a sub that they don't make. 2nd, why would you want that option in a mid range speaker. Motor force and control is more for a subwoofer

That was a dumb analogy because supercharging a vehicle that is turbo charged adds a insane amount of low end power needed because turbos are high end power taking long periods of time to spool up and be ready to make power! it is a very good move for a turbo charged vehicle bro!
