I try to catch up your blog everyday during my break time at work. I can sense that you are a very genuine, kind hearted with a gentle soul. Kudos to your attitude towards your life. Yes, Mental health in our Tibetan community is still a taboo subject and there are lots of stigma attached to it. I wish and hope our younger generation Tibetans are more aware of the mental health issue and consider it as a mental illness like any other illness and take active supporting role to lift those suffering from it. I work at a psychiatric unit and know how much one suffer and struggle to get out of it. Timely intervention with Family and community support is what they need to come out. My question to You, when u seem to know well about going depression of that guy who murdered n now being in jail, have u contact his families ? Have u reach his families when u notice he is goin through depression? Just my curiosity. Rest,I appreciate ur courage n life style. It's hard to acknowledge real friends or not real one.
I m neither a therapist or a psychiatrist but WENEVER I had a conversation or reading his status I could read inbetween the lines tat he was not himself n I can understand human emotion much better than most according to my knowledge so I cud only do the possible help by listening or giving suggestions n doubts.. but I wasn’t sure he was into depression or he was suffering from mental illness n no I did not contact his family members as I don’t know anything about them but yes I now know fr sure tat he did have a mental breakdown .. Depression is an often invisible and isolating condition that is misunderstood by the general population..

Unfortunately, anyone trap is love affair couldn't see anything beyond present misery. Based on my experiences,I happened to know someone who traps in love and almost gone depression,yet ,I reached out his families in India and they helped him spiritually and support mentally I think, he is now strong like ever...
