I just watched this video last night, thinking how amazing Christine McVie's voice was... and today I heard the sad news. Rest in peace, Christine... your beautiful voice was always Perfect.
I did that too, but I was watching the video for "I'm So Afraid" the live version from 1982 Tusk Tour. I was loving how Christine was singing the co lead vocals on one line instead of Stevie. I was so mesmerized. I woke the next day only to hear that the Songbird had flown. May she rest in peace. 🕊️
I love how Christine always looks so calm and relax when performing on the stage. And this song is so underrated.
Yes and more yes! Wish it were a single!
We'll she is perfect by name and by nature...
Amazing song, i love it
@@TheDrouyn Christine Perfect 🙂
This is one of my favorites
This is John at his brilliantly understated best !!
I've always absolutely loved this one. Felt like no one else knew it. RIP to the unsung hero of Fleetwood Mac
You're not alone on that one.
❤
You’re not alone. Ever since I first heard Fleetwood Mac 10 years ago as a 6yo kid, I’ve loved this song.
RIP Christine, it is temporary one and bridge will bring us together
What a shame this never got the studio treatment, such a perfect Christine song. R.I.P. lovely lady.
I think it would be hard to top how good this performance is, no need for a studio, this is pure gold
@@erikrasmussen9068 True!
She lived such a full and acomplished life yet it still seemed like she had so much more to give. Thank you Christine.
I totally agree. If only she could have done a last Farewell Tour or another solo album , or had even written a book... that would have been sooo nice.
The harmonies are just to die for. So incredible seeing three legendary vocal talents support each other by blending so well.
We will miss you Christine.😢 Thank you for all the wonderful music.
Who doesn’t love Mick’s expressions when pounding the hell out of those drums?
Right you Auht to see him in the begining of eyes of the world
I hate that him and Stevie threw Lindsey under the bus
I don't. Because to drum is not to pound the hell out of drums.
slouhend Mick definitely knows what he’s doing.
@@stever7157 Yes, he knows, but I don't like his style at all.
She is one cool woman Rip Christine
Yes, she was!❤
All of us Fleetwood Mac fans love and miss you dear Christine Mcvie! Rest in peace! We will always love your music 🎶 in Fleetwood Mac!!
Love this song! Christine’s voice is so beautiful and the harmony between Stevie, Lindsey and Christine is perfect! ❤
This was the song which made my brother notice FM playing in my car and say "hey this is good!" (he was 7 years younger). He was a musician - bass player - and he died in 2014. This is one of my songs to him ❤️
RIP Christine ✨💫⚡️
May he rest in peace
Now he'll meet Christine for his first time!
one of their best songs, overlooked
Agreed!
When Christine introduced the song, she did say it was a new one bring performed for the first time
I so totally agree with you. I love to sing the harmonies to this song 🎵

Just love Christine's songs.
I love this whole band to eternity.
A legend. We love you, Christine.
RIP Christine. I love this song.
Unsurpassable vocals
Christine was always so upbeat and positive thinking! She was light in the darkness!
And this is how it's done. Folks live.
Monster bass line as always Johnny.
Rest in peace dear lady!!! This song marked my younger hard life but I've made it.
RIP my dear Christine McVie. You will be missed Truly.🙏🏾🕊❤️
Rest I peace Christine, thanks for all the great music
RIP lovely lady. This song was one of my favorites. Shit, now I'm crying.
i love Christine's part"don't you know that"!
RIP Christine McVie. One of the all time greats. Thanks for the memories.
RIP to our beautiful Christine. You won’t be forgotten 🕊️
Keys to a bands survival is HONESTY. who is the rock etc...Christine was the rock.
I love this song and happy to say any songs Christine sang with Fleetwood Mac , I saw her sing live!! RIP Songbird ❤
RIP Songbird. Thank you for your beautiful music.
Fleetwood Mac's most underrated song, from 0 to 60 in 1 second. Christine always seems to be casually floating on her back, but drives this great band to where most others just don't have the experience to get to. We always wished there was a longer version.
Rest in Peace, Christine. I am happy that I could see and hear you a few years ago during a concert in Amsterdam. Thanks!!!!
First heard this on my new Bose stereo theater system. The the sub woofer pumped air that I could feel ten feet from it. My neighbor called me and said to turn it up.
What a song, perfect executed. Love you Stevie! RIP Christine
John McVie is underrated as one of the best bass players of all its nd this song shows it.
Lindsey and Stevie were really staring at each other throughout this entire concert weren't they lol
They did that at a lot of shows
RIP Christine. She's looking and sounding great here. Mick looks like he's really enjoying himself on the drums.
You listen to this song a couple of times and you're hooked. With Christine's vocals, John's amazing bass, Lindsey's guitar playing and Mick doing his job driving, it all really makes it a fun song to listen to. It's also one of the few songs where Stevie Nicks just sings backup to Christine.
Yes I love when Stevie backs up Chris!
Brother it only took once for me. They are all top of their art.
Very true! Except there are like 50 songs where stevie sings backup. She does that to all of christines songs. Which there are a lot of
The ultimate Rock’nRoll. Love this song. Christine’s powerful voice, Mick’s mesmerizing drum playing, John’s bass and Lindsey’s guitar - PERFECTION. ❤
RIP beautiful Christine ❤
This is such a beautiful song. The lyrics are amazing.
Rest in peace. Christine McVie.
This song is sooo fucking perfect
These lyrics mean so much more to me now that my brother died and so did Christine just a couple weeks later 💔
Rest easy now, Christine 🙏😞Thankyou for you wonderful music and the many, many memories 💕💕💔💔
I have been in love with Chris since the Bare Trees record. My ex used to tell me "you love her more than you love me". I just looked at her and shrugged.
Chris was the heart and soul of Fleetwood Mac. I love and miss you dear lady.
Your ex was right wasn't she?
@@tikneshiabeauford7289 Of course not. But I am glad I am rid of her.
@@scottmurphy650 Oh I know. I'm sorry, I meant to put a smiley emoji after my statement. It was meant to be tongue and cheek. 😉
@@tikneshiabeauford7289 Don't be sorry. I was in St Louis for 6 months on a microbiology contract and got served the day after Christmas. I had zero warning, this just came out of the blue. We had been married for 38 years. F her. I am now remarried to a wonderful woman and she is all alone. Karma can be a real beach

Thank you Christy!!
One of my favorites rest in peace baby girl.

Thanks for this and all the other songs you preformed in your lifetime Christine RIP
One of my all time Fleetwood Mac songs. I miss our Songbird,
Every band's rhythm section should study McVie and Fleetwood closely!!
Rest in peace dear and wonderful Christine!
Calm, Cool and Collective Christine..this is where she feels at home
"On Stage"
Nothing underATED about this song a true Mac fan ❤
I love all your music Fleetwood mac. Ya'll have awesome voices. Been singing all your songs since 8 years old.
Hello Joy
RIP Christine 😔🥺
So much talent together. Buen viaje.
So beautiful:
"The river goes on and on
And the sea that divides us is a
Temporary one
And the bridge will bring us back together"
Fleetwood Mac, still one the best.. i really like Temporary One.
Pure class! Her studies of classic piano and cello put her with a different element that she carried into her career. One of my favorite singers. I sang Songbird as a solo in chorus in high school. I listened to it over and over in middle school and 5th grade and always wanted to sing it.I was a first soprano but her mid level tone made it simple for me plus I had years of practice.
RIP beautiful lady.
Sad loss of a massive talent!
Mick is a monster on those drums.a joy 2 witness..
Even better in person.
Mrs perfect is perfect. Rip. U angel.
Beautiful Lady, such a talent. This song is special to me and holds a dear place in my ❤. R.I.P. Christine, you are a rare gem 💎
Happy 80th birthday Christi
7/12/2023
Wish you were here
Miss you beautiful songbird
Rockin' in 2020 to FLEETWOOD MAC 💃❤️💃
Kinda funny because your name is a Prince reference. Is that what it's supposed to be?
We lost a powerful voice with Christine
When Stevie and Lyndsey look at each other! So much love/hate...
No Questions Asked, Behind the Mask and Temporary One would’ve been great songs so add to the anthology album! 😭
Couldn’t agree more, and I would add Heart of Stone to that list
And save me..shes so underrated
@@clareholt7360 “Save Me” and “Nights In Estroril” always put me in a trance! I love her so much!
Happy Birthday Chris!
The Music world just isn't the same without you...
No, it isn't 😢
"The River goes on and on" my friends.
There will NEVER be another band like this ~ NOT before or since ~ and it don't matter how jealous her band mates were, reality is, folks WEREN'T paying for tickets to see anything OTHER THAN NICKS
The 2 most beautiful women in Rock n Roll, you don't agree? Fight me!
What a feeling it must have been to see all the dead people in the audience who didn't dance to this song.
Christine You Have The Most Beautiful Voice Beautiful Sweet Songbird ❤️❤️💕💕🙏🙏🌺🌸🏵️💐🌼🍀🇺🇸🇩🇪💛❤️💙💚🙏🙏💕💕💛❤️💙💚 Christine You & Your Muzik Plays In My Heart & Home Everyday !
Christine will be missed
What a great year was 1997 for the band, the classic line up from the years 1975-1987, was reunited and a lot of good live shows followed, then came the beautiful studio album say u will and then more good live shows, mick is a good drummer and john mcvie is a good bass player, but lindsey buckingham, stevie nicks and christine mcvie are the most important members to ever play in the band, peter green was great and important for the band in the early years
best sound best music best band 👍👍✌
Funny Mick. Ha ha. Nice one.
Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks are adorable singers I've ever seen in this concert. ❤️ I love them both.
Perfect song. It resonates.
The sea that divides us is a temporary one…
Temporary One ❤️
Christine McVie is near 70 in this video and I don’t hear much difference in her voice from the 70’s. Still has the voice of an angel.
In this video, she would've only been 54.
Loved her so much. R.I.P. Angel
Wow! Lindsey’s actually using a pick on this song - that’s rare!
I've just watched this concert. Loved it! I saw Fleetwood Mac at Wembley a couple of years ago. Very good, although, Lyndsey was missed.
This has a good vibe to it makes my leg bump and tap 😊 🎶 🎧
Christine my love forever ❤️❤️❤️😘❤️💖❤️💞
You're the best christine mcVive and stevie nicks rest of the fleetwood mac rockin🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
