It is always amazing to see people get into the series for the first time. Do read it, it genuinely changes your perspective on life and how absolutely fucking miniscule we are in the grand scheme of things.
To put it lightly we are fucking ecstatic about this. GA has the best fan interaction of any band ever. It feels like Dave could show up at a house party and just vibe all night. Eating mayonnaise when you’re gettin blazed.

This band is so hard to explain why they are the best thing to happened on the music scene & a mesmerizing pure gift to a lot of us swirling around in the sands of time. I've said it before & want to express it again that their shows where they are the headliners & maybe 1 or 2 opening acts are such a breath of fresh air you want to soak up for as long as you can. I have been to numerous concerts of a wide variety of music from modern heavy metal music to country to the fat festivals with 2 stages & I have never experienced the vibe I felt when we were finally able to get out & do something after the lockdowns in Kansas City. Mind you this was experienced completely sober on arrival, the lines were the longest I've ever seen but the PEOPLE were all chill, polite, & pleasant EVERYWHERE from the fans to the staff. The bathroom lines were long but even there when filing in line & someone wasn't paying attention & they realize they may have cut in line in front of someone they were quick to appologize 1st & preferred to move to give someone the courtesy to get in front of them.... it was just amazing to see THAT MANY PEOPLE all grooving to what is best to describe as the same frequency because it was like a magic spell was taking place. Wish I knew what that frequency was & I'd use it in group settings as much as possible. 🥰🤩👣🧚♀️🧜♂️
This year is the tenth year I've followed yall. Ever since I saw Taken 3 in the theaters and heard Toes playing in it, I knew you guys were special. Back in those days, streaming wasn't what it is now so i actually went to the theater to see it again just so I could remember the lyrics and google them afterwards. You guys are the only band I've followed this consistently for this long. So excited for whats to come from yall. We love you.
Hi GA. This is me. A random person. Um... So, when you guys dropped that 3am snippet, I legit started crying. I wrote something explaining why. I feel like this is a good time to share it... Here: ”So... There you have it. I am crying. After having yet another argument with my parents over the fact that 'nothing I do is ever good enough', I opened the GA server (as I do often) and noticed that 3am snippet that was now available. So I took the decision to let off some steam, walk my dog, and use that time to listen to it. I knew that it would comfort me, because GA always comfort me - but I didn't expect it to comfort me as much as it actually did. Of course, Dave's voice is something that I find comforting on its own. And knowing that I'm listening to GA along with hundreds of other people makes me feel like I'm not alone. But this little snippet was more than that. And I started listening to it on loop. I even decided to take a longer walk with my dog in order to listen to it again and again and again and soak in the feelings of it. It was not only the excitement of a new GA song that helped shift my mood, but also the fact that this was exactly what I needed. Then 'I can't handle change' came on, and that's when the tears really started falling. Nothing I do is ever good enough - how accurate. It's funny because, this kind of music, that seems to be the kind that will define the entire album, is exactly the kind of music I've been listening to lately. Especially at 3am staring at the ceiling. I needed that. And I got it. And I'm so happy. The reason this kind of music is what I'm into right now is probably that I've been struggling with the knowledge that in six months, I'm finally getting away from home, like I have dreamed for years. And these last months here are the most unbearable. If you are one of the people who hang out with me on the server, you might be aware of the fact that I create a theme for each month of the year. This year, I decided to do a theme following the new GA era, and also my desire to go away. And then I made a playlist to go with it. And I'm surprised because... Oh. This is exactly what this sounds like. So... Yeah. I am crying. I love you guys.” Okay. I'm not gonna embarrass myself any further. Love you GA.
