you are absolutely correct when you mentioned cruel world. i agree this world is full of hate, hurtful people. i lost already faith in humanity that humans are born to hate others. when chester died my world died already knowing that he suffered many years and yet no one still noticed the meaning to each of his lyrics. he may look strong on the surface, greeting fans, doing interviews, being with his family, laughing but what happens if he is alone. i can't imagine. sad for chester's passing

I was looking for this a more down to earth version of this song for my funeral.
Now I'm not going anywhere soon but hey due to Corona we all feel a bit more mortal then before.
One more light is also very nice but this song speaks more to me because I been a difficult person to deal with sometimes.
And this version would sound better at a funeral then the more rock version of Linkin Park themselves.
