1. You need a large hole for exhaust pipe.
2. Once you have fixed the exhaust pipe into the hole then it is no longer that portable.
3. The exit of water needs 'jugaad'. Or effort. Carry the water tray out or keep a bucket. Typical desi design problem.

Portable AC consumes lot of electricity as it takes air from room to cool the refregirant. It will keep running unlike split AC which cuts of after 10-15 mini.
Blue Star portable AC design is bad in that it throws cool air up instead of throwing at chair,/sofa level. It cools the space above rather than the person.
