Hello Guys, I have exactly the same problem as shown in the video,the problem here is the gear in the drain Motor worn after a while and it rotate freely and settled at a ramdom position, which sent a wrong signal to the processor , as compare to a new Drain Motor(when you take the Drain Motor out and rotate the gear with your hand you should feel some resistance when compared to the old one) I resloved the problem by removed the screw holding the gear, remove the gear with caution or else you might bent the leaf switch in the housing, once the gear is removed add a round rubber washer (about 1mm thick)between the gear and the base ,the diameter should not be bigger than the base diameter of the gear or else it might touch the leaf switch.Put back the gear and tighten the screw to a point that it gives some resistance when you rotate it gear with your hand,it worked for me and I don't have to replace the Drain Motor.
I did the same, since i dont have a rubber washer, i put electrical tape as padding between the gear and the motor... finally it works... thanks man for the idea...

Many thanks for the video. Saved my pocket & time since "lockdown season" covid-19. Successfully fix the problem by dismantle the motor & use 2000 grade sand paper to scrub between copper contact point. Install back motor (tricky but doable). Just make sure to install the motor in correct position & you are done.
My Toshiba AW-A750SM (6.5kg) washing machine is having the same problem. But mine is totally kaput. Yours is still able to hold a bit and then it slipped. I've removed the drain motor & dismantled it. It looks like the gear aren't connecting at all. Which means the gear teeth might be broken. Plus, it is made of plastic, that is why it is so easy to broken.

Try reset it. Press and hold the Super Spin Dry button. While still holding the Super Spin Dry button, press the On button and you should hear it beep 3 times. The machine has been reset.
Mesin basuh saya sama jenis seperti ini... tetapi masalahnya yang rosak tak boleh spin dan bilas....ada keluar bunyi kuat apabila nak spin....klw boleh apa cara jalan penyelesaian yang terbaik....

Replace it with only Toshiba Motor or any brand motor may be replace?
