Deji's inactivity on social media lead me to believe he was actually training hard - leaving your normal life to go train in the mountains type shit. He's improved his physical health but if he wants to stay boxing, he either shouldn't or get a W.
There's plenty of of other ways to stay fit and not do boxing... take a page out of Behzinga's book.

With the Vinnie Hacker fight, the team he was with hyped him up sooo much, he claimed he was training 5 times a day lollll then we saw what shape he turned up in.

âDeji looks pretty bad hereâ is something thatâs been said quite a few times about him along the years. Comes to a point where you notice a pattern. Think the guyâs a serial liar and will say just about anything for attention.
Really sucks to hear stuff like this, hearing that deji was cancelling due to other commitments also makes zero sense, I get that as an audience we only know what he shows on social media as his life, but on the face of it he stopped CZcams, broke up with his girlfriend, and moved away from his family and supposedly only had training to focus on. Can totally see where JJ was coming from, to lie and let that many people down who believed In him even after losing to vinnie hacker is just disappointing.

If Deji wants to prove that what he initially said was true, he needs to release more of the sparring footage. Yea, the clips Solomon posted was less than flattering, but it was 2 short clips from what seems like a longer sparring session, and just makes it seem like public criticisms of Solomon's coaching style is the reason we got this now moreso than it being something blantantly disrespectful that was said by Deji (or else, why not release this footage before the fight/ right after the fight?). But to be fair to Solomon, Deji has shown to be more talk than action

This is true, I did also think that the two clips seemed a bit cherrypicked, but they do exist nonetheless, and we continue to see a lot of what we've seen from him for years now - he just can't push himself and always quits. He dropped to the ground after those two body shots after, what, 4 solid years of boxing training? 4 years and he still can't take a body shot?
Regardless of this, though, for me what made this so much worse wasn't even the footage itself, it was the fact that he supposedly switched camps without giving Solomon a heads up. That seals the deal for me that in case this really is true, Deji is a garbage human being and hasn't changed at all. He simply cannot stop lying and has been doing so for years now.
Also, I just realized - the kid he's sparring seems significantly smaller than Deji. Not height wise, but he seems lighter than him.

Involving Amanda and Katie fight
Hey Wade can you please explain I love boxing but I don't really understand the points... If Katie won the first and Amanda won the next 5 rounds then Katie won the next 4 ... Why is it not a draw.. I understand after the 6th Katie was dominating but Amanda never stopped throwing punches so her point gain couldn't have stopped all together.. Katie is a great fighter but in this fight I don't know how she won and didn't draw let alone loose all together ... Basically doesn't both fighter have 5 rounds under there belt so it would be a draw?

This goes beyond fighting for Deji. He needs to search deep inside and find out whats going on. If this is how he was with his camp and coming on to interviews saying the opposite then man you have to start taking some real accountability. Stop doing things just cause others are and start doing things you want to do. Do things you can commit to and put your heart into. If you canât do that then focus on finding out why that isnât something you can do. Hope Deji can take it for what it is and make something happen fighting or not.
I do believe the coach wants to clear his name after the abysmal performance of Deji, I can't help but remember what KSI has said after sparing Deji before the Alex fight. He fully believed Deji was prepared and will win the fight. My guess is that Deji has cracked under the pressure of the fight. Not because of the number of people watching, but because of its importance. He was too afraid to let his hands go and throw a punch that counts.

Where Deji messes up is that he is unwilling to admit to any imperfections. He will falsely over show his work ethic, out comes and abilities to make it look good for a edited video when it will just really help him if he stops this act and just embraces himself. I always find it very concerning when Deji doesn't put out sparring footage. JJ always has a good amount of sparring footage when he was fighting Logan Paul, whereas all of the videos with Deji in them lasted less than 10 seconds each and only show the decent parts of the spar. It always looks nice, but it feels like he's hiding something. Now we know.

I trained a few weeks after covid, and you're spot on it's near to impossible with the damage your lungs get.
I honestly feel like this doesnât reveal any new information about Dejiâs training that we didnât know before. I still think Solomon probably wasnât pushing Deji, atleast not to the extent that Daley can. And the whole sparring thing, wasnât Solomon litteraly talking about how Deji had been beating more experienced sparring partners leading up to the fight? You can go back to the prime training video and see him say that. I honestly feel like heâs just cherry picking footage for attention and to make him look like a victim.

Actually I think Solomon had the only and bests game plan that was needed when fighting Alex. Even when he was in Dejiâs vid I like what he was talking about he knows whatâs good for Deji donât get me wrong Daley knows his stuff as well but for not communicating with Solomon about what he wants changed or what he needs is to then leave without telling him beforehand is utterly DISRESPECTFUL. Deji is still lazy he hasnât changed anything in his 3 years of boxing. He doesnât have what it takes to win a match and those sparring clips just show he isnât capable of being a boxer let alone being a YT boxer.
But wouldn't you say that ditching Solomon and switching camps without him even knowing at all is a bit shitty? If this is true, I think it gives Deji a really bad look, even worse than any sparring footage could.
Also, regarding what you said about him not pushing Deji - in that 2nd clip we see Deji getting dropped by two short body shots from a guy who's lighter than him. He quit, again. He's been boxing for 4 years and he still doesn't have the willpower to push through a body shot, just like in the very beginning. He is absolutely terrified to get hit and you see it in how he ducks for his life every time someone throws a punch at him, he's not even looking to counter anything.
How can any coach push him if Deji doesn't even push himself? The whole "I needed to be pushed" thing just seems like some more silly excuses from Deji attempting to blame everyone else but himself. Him saying that gives Solomon a really bad look which hurts his job as a coach, and that's not fair on him at all, that can affect his livelihood, and I can imagine how much it enraged Solomon to know that he's being given a bad rep by a guy who has absolutely no discipline, he's essentially uncoachable.
KSI said in a video that when he went to visit Deji he couldn't even get him to go on a run, and he revealed that he told him to pull out of the fight. Things are starting to make sense more than ever. Deji just doesn't work hard enough and blames it on everyone but himself.

was waiting for your response video but as a deji fan i feel even more disappointed and even lied to as a fan. He basically lied about most the things he said and i feel like maybe one reason he changed coachs was because kenny was there and maybe he felt more comfortable and has like a accountability partner to push each other but who knows whatâs happening when the cameras are off. the big issue with this is its easy to release sparing footage that makes a person look better or worse. first off is the spar time stamped. this could have been at the start of camp. lets not forget this trainer did also say that deji is learning fast and doing well so he has lied to. now obviously no one will know the truth cause there is three sides to every story his ex trainer who could dislike deji leaving him like he did so jumping on the bandwagon of not training. dejis side where you clearly see hes lost weight so hes definitely trained but maybe didn't click with this trainer so he left but said he was winning to much. some things we are yet to see the thing is deji never specified who he was beating and was also in an interview where you kinda want to intimidate your opponent. i don't agree with releasing sparring footage at the end of the day you had 2 fighters one stayed and won the other left and lost that should be enough. besides waiting like 2 months or so after to say this out of nowhere its just odd. also you hung out with alex wasabi before the fight which could have been snakey showing him footage.
at the end of the day this makes you a bad trainer in my opinion irrelevant of truth or not you shouldnt release sparing footage you could have helped deji opponent and you had also lied in dejis video or maybe this one

there's always 2 sides to every story. Solomon can say whatever he wants but the bottom line is Deji moved to a more experienced coach and with more tougher and harder sparring (undefeated pros) and yet like Daley said Deji was giving 100% in a harder more experience camp in a short amount of time.
So if Solomon is saying that deji wasn't giving his all then either Solomon is lying or he clearly wasn't pushing deji because when deji is with Daley HE'S GIVING IT HIS ALL.

After watching, itâs safe to yes there was clearly some communication and bigging up issues from Deji. I completely understand Solomons point in this but we only have this one point of sparring to go off by atm and Solomon could probably bring up way more in his defence, so this situation atm for me is a he said she said type deal but Solomon at least brought up the proof.
Deji just needs to prove this otherwise but if he doesnât will again leave a bad taste in peoples mouth including mine. I feel that deji is definitely in a better camp to train in for himself and will see what happens because at this rate I donât care how many times he losses at the end of the deji has to stare at himself and tell himself if this is what he truly wants and all what you said wade.
