One of the greatest talents to ever grace an octagon...however his resume is paper thin and he retired too prematurely to have his name put amongst the GOAT's of the sport. He hasn't fought Olivera who is the best guy of his generation and if Olivera beats Islam his resume would surpass Khabibs. Khabib should have also tested his skills at 170 since 155 was way too easy for him. If he really wants a genuinely great legacy free from scrutiny, he needs to come back, beat Olivera and then move up to 170 and take that belt from Leon Edwards/Usman. Very doable for him but big question marks on whether he can make 155 again.

Khabib only beat Gaethje, Poirier and Mcgregor. They were the only top class fights he’s had. Second tier fighters were RDA and Barboza. Everyone else he fought were irrelevant……. Gaethje, Poirier and Mcgregor have been beat multiple times and aren’t at the top of their divisions any more. RDA is mid….Khabib was dominant but was a weight bully…… as he got older the weight got harder to make… Healy, Johnson and Iaquinta were bums and were never top 5 fighters… 4 title fights is less the Tyron Woodley!!
