Come and join us on our first ever cruise adventure with MSC. This is the first time we have ever been on an MSC crusie ship and we are setting sail on MSC Euribia, their newest ship and today’s video is all about Embarkation Day. We are cruising from Southampton to Northern Europe and we stayed in a local hotel the night before the cruise and have left our car with the hotel for the week. We get a taxi to the cruise port and board the ship in what has to be one of the slickest check ins we have ever had. Once onboard we have a quick look around, decide on a speciality dining restaurant for Mark’s birthday, watch the safety drill and then get ready for White Night. Its all Theatre, Dining, Big Band and Partying from then on.

@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark Only a short weekend one on the Euribia to Hamburg. I'm going solo and wasn't sure if I'd like it so I didn't go for a long one lol! Hope I love it just as much as you two x

Just disembarked in hamburg last week! Loved that ship and the pizza and pasta at the buffet And the prebooked spa cruise pass!!! think i gained 29 lbs LOL!
Ah you must have got on just after us then! Were the Christmas markets open ✨🎄✨ The pizza 🍕 was great! Tried to stay away from too much bread and I think eating in the MDR helped with the portion sizes but the cake and desserts 😋 they were yummy. Did you have the week long pass? We only had an hour for free with our Gold Membership but I met someone who'd booked the whole week and said it was a good price. 😂 Probably not all of them!! There were so many so no think you'd need a month or more onboard! Loved the Baileys hot chocolate though and that wasn't even on the list - I just asked if they could do it 😍 Do you have a favourite cocktail? We're on Sky Princess at the moment and I've had a Baked Alaska and Lemon Drop which were both lush 🍸

Yes she is the sister ship of Virtuosa and in the same class as Grandiosa 😊 Have you been onboard?

@@wellifthemediasaysit We enjoyed it so much that when we saw MSC World Europa on an advert we booked it instantly to go on later this year and can’t wait! Love how sparkly and glitzy they are!!
Next time you depart from Southampton then please feel free to leave your car with us 👍 we only live 40 mins away and wd happily drop/collect you to the port too. X

Are the pools always open?
Hi Alex, the Atmosphere outdoor pool is open 9-7 and the Horizon outdoor pool 8-7 both weather permitting. The Bamboo indoor pool is open 7-11 😊

@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark not cruised with MSC before we usually go with P&O but wanted to do another for comparison, Northern Europe itinerary so I think it’s the same. Looks a nice ship, heard a lot about overcrowding and dodgy service so looking forward to seeing how you get on
