Ghibli Museum Day Trip from Tokyo (with Edo Toyko Museum and Hotel Gajeon Tokyo)

As a newbie to Ghibli, I visited the Ghibli Museum and was enchanted. I took a day trip excursion from Tokyo through Sunrise Tours. The excursion included two other stops: the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architecture Museum and brunch at the Hotel Gajeon Tokyo.
The motor coach excursion started with brunch at the gorgeous hotel. We then traveled to the historical Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architecture Museum, which consists of authentic structures that have been moved to the site. The museum exhibits examples of architecture and artifact from various time periods. All of the buildings have cultural significance.
The excursion concluded with three hours of free time at the Ghibli Museum. Photographs are not allowed inside the museum.
About the Ghibli Studio Founder: Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese animator, filmmaker, and manga artist. He has attained international acclaim as a masterful storyteller and creator of Japanese animated feature films, and is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished filmmakers in the history of animation.
For solo travelers: The tour was an easy, fun and laid-back experience.
For senior travelers: The Museum offers wheelchair-accessible facilities in restrooms on all floors. Everything is accessible by wheelchair in the building except the rooftop, which is accessed by a spiral staircase. It is an enjoyable experience for all ages, but especially for Ghibli afficiandos!
