How To Make Easy DIY Christmas Lanterns!!!

- In this how to make video I show you easy DIY Christmas lanterns. These were super easy to decorate and put together. I will show you some of my tricks to making it look special. We make quick easy bows for the top of our lanterns. The ribbon I have had for a long time and I reuse it from time to time. Most of the picks I used were purchased in prior years and all of my florals come from Hobby Lobby, Michael's and Joanne's. I hope this inspires you to make your own Christmas lantern. We tried to make it easy to understand and follow. You can do it yourself and save the money from a predecorated one. The lanterns on the plant stand are clever. I'm bringing inside a white wrought iron birdcage I used outside and decorate it like a lantern. Nice video early in the morning to get my day going!

Those gray-green holly branches remind me of those vintage Christmas cards. So nostalgic. They bring back memories of Christmas with my Grandmother. She loved the holidays so much.

I have made many bows during Christmas but I never thought to curl the ends - great tip! The lanterns are all so lovely! I am glad someone invented the battery operated candles. You can have candlelight without the worry. I was also enjoying the gorgeous floral painting behind you as you worked. I think I will go back and watch the video about your wonderful artwork again. Bonjour mon ami !! I have 2 lanterns that are not decorated right now, this video came such on the right time. You did a wonderful job in the addition of the bows, flowers, picks and little decoration. The cascading of the berries look so lovely. Again, you have demonstrated talent my dear. I certainly appreciate that you are not afraid to mention that you are reusing ribbons and you keep those twist ties that comes with the lights, I am all about to keep lots of things and reusing "stuff" that will save $ to buy other new nice things :) .... Beautiful creative design on the lanterns. I love the curled wired ribbon and the use of ornaments to add interest. I decorate with a Christmas Eve theme so I love the black lantern with the reindeer.

The lanterns turned out beautifully. On the huge red lantern, I would have placed the red/white stripe candle on a little pedestal to give it more height. Thanks for sharing.

You did it again. 💯 Great job decorating the lanterns. My favorite was the beautiful one from your son, with the laser cut outs and the little antlers! The bows and the ornaments put them over the top.💫 I see some interior designers using antlers in high end homes. Anytime I need a pick-me-up, I rewatch your videos, because your positive attitude is good for the soul. I learn something new each time I watch, especially with the floral arrangements. Just bought 4 red lanterns at Walmart last night. I got 2of the tallest and 2 medium sized for my front porch. I’ve always done black lanterns but am excited to try the red ones this year. You did a very nice job with the bows😊 I do like the idea of the red and white candle. It really pops with the red. You know, I really like the idea of the skates but I use those on the Antique Sled with some artificial snowballs at the base (Hobby Lobby use to carry those but I don’t know if they did this year). Job well done with the pops of white on the red lantern!👍🎄😊 I can tell you are having so much fun. HO HO HO.

Love it. Tablecloth is that damask. I have a gold one much smaller and i use it as xmas tree skirt. U r a hoot for sure. Now when you were curling ribbon, yes paper towel roll but with a bobby pin then when u r ready take pin out and turn roll, release and u will have shirley Temple curl. U probably knew that anyway. Lol

Awe ! I waited years for a good deal ! They are Venetian ! And the color of the glass is called cognac.....bought at a sale of discontinued but new chandeliers on line ! I changed the one fixture opening to two ....the bigger fine homes are doing it now and with the bigger dining table it's so fitting and elegant....thx for your interest. 🎄💛👫🍂
I love that red lantern and the candle I never seen peppermint before and by the way the ribbons if you need you can take a damp cloth cover your ribbon with the iron and make them look new again,but that looks great anyway,,by the way I need you at my house to make my house beautiful,,,that's so beauiful and you make it more beautiful as you go,,,love that big picture behind you,,,put some peppermint candy in side with candle,,the black lantern love it to,,more I watch the more I do need you at my house to decorate for me,,my coffee cold as you know ,love your videos and love all of you to,,God bless you and Angela and family.those three red look so good together,,,my house please,,,,,Santa are really coming to your house you been a good boy haven't you.,,,it make me wish your house was mine.
