GRAND HYATT Manila Hotel Tour

- Grand Hyatt Manila is a true 5 star hotel in the high rise BGC area of Manila. It's in a safe walking area of condos, offices, malls and restaurants. One of two Hyatts in Manila, the other being preferred by me for many reasons as a Globalist member. Check out my soon to publish video on HYATT CITY OF DREAMS Manila.
Per my experience, the pros of this hotel are the location, the many food outlets including a mall two blocks away, and the breathtaking view from the rooms.
Keep in mind that hotel rooms are roughly floor 30 to 60, with other floors above the lobby and pool area being occupied by a bank. If you have a fear of heights, this may not be the hotel for you.
The cons include internet issues that they could not solve in my stay, employees that are friendly but the courtesy doesn't seem genuine, limitations of Globalist benefits that the other Manila Hyatt does not have, valet/parking attendants that apparently don't understand English well and send you to the front desk to work out issues that the misunderstandings cause, a club lounge that could not provide basic drinks like ice tea and condiments like pancake maple syrup, and confused phone communications when assistance is needed. I noticed a significant number of negative reviews for this Hyatt on TripAdvisor, so you may want to review them as well.

The club lounge is open for guests that has lounge access, so yes, you can go up and grab refreshments anytime 😊

I like the pros and cons, especially when you mentioned staff are friendly but didn't seem genuine. I had a bad experience in Crimson Hotel....Not really bad. I was trying to check in but was on the wrong desk. The staff was just doing their phone, ignoring me when I inquire.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. That's why I always leave reviews whether good or bad so the hotel mngt will know.

Is the Grand Hyatt Hotel in BGC is standard as 5 star hotel or may mga grand hyatt na hindi din 5 star, just asking thanks
Grand Hyatts are 5star. Its higher level than Hyatt Regency Hotels. Some Grand Hyatts might be an older building or it's in a location where they cannot hire good staff so guests may consider them 4star 😊

Last year, the feel that we got from the staff was that they were there to protect the facility from the guests rather than facilitate the guests enjoyment of the hotel. Was there again just 2 months ago and they seem more genuinely friendly now. They have a new GM too so 🤷♀️

Hi, for a standard room it's between 17-20k. The room in my video is a grand suite room which is 29k per night. The rate varies though, just check it online. Hope this helps 😊
