The double insole trick actually works when one of your foot is slightly smaller than the other, which has work extremely well for me in my case.
I have another trick. So my left is 43 and right foot is 44. I just switch a 43 in the box of the 44 and hope the cashier doesn't see it LOL

Yes, don't do it. Put them in any way and that is always better. Or just tuck the end of the laces under the tongue or something for a cleaner look. I mean I do it because they are too long...

I have laced boots that are to small and they hurt my mid foot area because they were to tight. I then took the laces out and I tried some agility drills and they fit perfectly and were still kinda tight but locked my foot down. But I understand to not take laces out of boots if they fit when the laces are tightened

No, don't cut holes in your boots if you have blisters. If you have issues that would be permanent, and maybe if you had to wear shoes for sponsorship purposes but they feel wrong on your foot. Banana one you can try, but it does not make football boots better. Yes, it makes dress shoes look better but football boots? Nah. No laces I can confirm (tried the boot but it feels like tight crocs for the fit), but I modified my lacing technique so that I can get in easier and it feels better on my foot. I do the runners loop all the time but not on this one though as it is too tight and acquired as the laces go harder through the holes as on my running shoes. Anything that changes the shoe forever like cutting holes I would be careful about but changing the lace-up method is totally fine! Also, warm water is a good idea, oh and thick socks as well then wear it if they are slightly too small ( we're talking quarter sizer or less). Just don't modify your boots forever if you don't know what you are doing!

I once bought these rubber grip sleeves that went over the boot. They were supposed to provide extra grip and more contact on the ball when shooting. The problem was that they were sleeves over the boot - so the bottom part soon tore up because of the running. They were also quite tight on the top of the foot. I loved the idea but practically, I wouldn't recommend them, unless someone created a more advance version of it that didn't result in the problem stated.

Don't bite your new shoes before wearing it in hope it doesn't bite(injure) you, it doesn't work. Just get a pair of comfy shoes that fits you at the start is what you should do.
