I think the main problem is that people expected western style pirate adventure from ubisoft but it's made by ubi in singapore and it's heavily styled after the grindy asian mmos, they enjoy playing a game as a job basically, the ubisoft singapore devs just dont understand our complaints.
The part that REALLY pissed me off was losing so many PO8 when the season changed. This game has been doing nothing but pissing me off with every update.
I crafted 8 lvl 10 snows pretty easy to use as transports to collect my pieces of eight. It's works pretty well although my manufacturers are still only lvl 5. It still takes a really long time to fill and be collected.
They ruined it. Impossible to defend a manufactury
i have tried twice to defend manufatcory lvl 10 and failed. its to many lvl 10-13 ships that comes in 5 waves
I got 7 ships on wave 3, and 7 more as I was fighting, wave 4 brought another 14, and then wave 5 never ended.

I unassigned a ship within a few days. It all seemed a waste of time.
Great coverage; couldn't agree more that fleet management should have been separate to your own ships.
Hope they bring a 'set favourite' option for ship selection soon. I've built a fleet of snows since season 2, and now have the wonderful pleasure of sifting through multiple ships when I have to switch between my main ships.
With 40 Max owned-ships, it's going to be ridiculous.

I wish they'd allow you to manage your ships without having to change your current ship. Having to change inventory over is an extra unnecessary step. Especially when upgrading, just make it another feature where you can pull up your ship (like in the menus) and adjust equipment from there.
Al be taking a break until they nerf the manufacturing attacks its way to broken right now its legit impossible for a solo player to be successful i hope they fix this soon because i wanna get back into the game and grind po8.
Honestly it should been better like auto collect route and maybe each route has a risk to being attacked but more po8 bonus if you go medium or high.
It better to level a factory to level 5 and coast from there and build the snow cause it cheap resource build and easy to make it a level 11 ship with new weapon tweaks last season.
They are really going to need to change this up, I understand its a new feature, but it doesn't make it easier it just makes it more frustrating to the point you rather just collect on your own.
Do attack happen when you have no ships auto collecting? If they only attack when you have a ship docked you mind well just have no ship docked and collect po8 on your own without worry of factory downtime. I messed up my few factory leases, Next one I get just going to level it to 5 can build a snow and toss junk weapons on it.
I get the idea cause it nice to collect offline, but they rolled it out poorly.
I leveled up most of my factories to 5 and my goodness, they take soooooo long to produce pieces of eight like at this point WHAT IS THE POINT??!!!
Even worse, if you fail to defend and your factory is damaged and it has one one your ships docked to auto collect, that ship is unavailable to you as well for the duration. So at lvl 10 you lose your ship there for 13 hours.
I thought you could assign one ship to collect every manufactory in an area. Who has 20 ships fully loaded to collect things? best to just do it yourself. What a waste of an idea.
Location matters. My manufactory near Far East home base, is level 10 and had to defend it twice, both times there was hardly nothing that threatened it and manufactory took no damage. My level 10 manufactories near St. Anne on the other hand, I've lost in defending those every time.

When I do a hostile take over and get 100% before the timer is up. I do not take control of the manufactory. I just get the raiders chest with resources and 450 pieces of eight. Is that intended, or can you only take control with the health leases?
I’m not sure why that is happening, you don’t need a helm lease so you should get the manufactory
I figured it out you need to upgrade in the helm upgrades. I was capped at 8 the last tab let's you upgrade to get more thank you!
As they do with alll games, it's frusting enough to stop playing it. I have 2 lvl 10 factury's and had one attacked by almost 15 ships. Done in seconds, so bad!
Isn't the auto collection system supposed to be for when we're not playing or doing other stuff in the game?

Let's face it, at first this was a fun, pretty game - there is nothing Ubisoft can do to make this game any less dull.
Also the manufacturing towers that are there to defend from us plundering don’t even fire or help us defend the manufactory , while the ships that do belong to the manufactory that your defending do come to help but they practically don’t do anything at all. At the very minimum if they were going to push forward this factory defense thing the defensive towers should be aiding us in defense like how they shoot at us when we plunder.
Also what happened to ships we make that get used as the fleet assigned to a factory assisting us in defending like they said in their dev stream
Everything you’re complaining about is exactly how they said it would be. Which is why you can build more ships sir. I definitely agree with you on the defense they’re going to have to nerf that a bit
Level 9/10 factories will give you impossible defense missions making you lose half of the po8 that's currently in stock then further lock you out for 13 hours for repairs! Hopefully you can bring light to this issue B2G it's totally busted and not respectful of the players time!
also now they made it where you had to level up the empire managment upgrades to increase how many manufacturies you can control. But hey AAAA game!

You have to spent po8 at your Empire table in the Hideout (where you can Upgrade all of your Empire stuff....Last Tab to the right,every lvl increse max Manufacturys by 2
@@JulianKirk87 i have 8 manufoctories and they are all level 6, 7 .. so i have to upgrade more with the level of the 8 manufactories i got now? To get more manufactories?
@@kevinbonroy4902No no,you go to the Hideout in 1 of the 2 Main Citysb(where you craft rum and Opium), there you have a big table where you can Upgrade your Empire stuff...on that table you have several Tabs for upgrading your Outcome,time Bonus and so on,the Last Tab is for Maximum number of Manufacturys
Detect your thoughts in this game it shouldn't intimated a system in this game to use the castles at the offence and use their missiles using using you trying to text your businesses in the game
I love this game , probably a unpular opinion for many , but anyone still playing , yes defense is hard buttttttttt. If you think your going to loose the defense just empty whatever 8s you have in the manufactory before you join the defense event that way you atleast you dont loose them
All i wanted was a game just like AC blackflag but with multiplayer and more focus on the pirate site of things. And all I got was that i got scammed in to bying a pile of dogshit that just keeps getting bigger. 😢

This system in this game ranking up your business and a level 10 and then I just ranked it up and not even got it full maxed and I got the now I've got to wait 13 hours to be paired with itself it's a stupidest thing in the world on the the NPCs of Byron's than the fire at the building rank and you got five waves of it you can't do it solo

I am really disappointed. All they needed to do was to add more quest, a few weapons and maybe some new ships but destroyed the game instead with stupidity 😢

I enjoyed Skull and Bones for a bit due to it being just mindless and relaxing after work. But since Sea of Thieves came out on PS5, I have not looked back and after watching this and seeing feedback from other players, it will continue to be that way. Skull and Bones could have been an all encompassing pirate game, but instead it's an arcadey ship simulator with pirate cosmetics. It's more akin to a mobile game than a full priced title. I've been having more fun with Sea of Thieves and its unlimited things to do more than any other game I've played in my over 45 years of gaming.

And the kicker was trying to take over a hostile takeover on a business and it's just popped up I have to fast travel to get there I didn't have silver in the game I wouldn't get there and how to sell that and I didn't have silver in the game so stupid is idea in the world put a lucky I got silver in the game but anyone else hasn't it's the stupid idea in the world
This game is a mess as it is and it keeps getting worse.
