To be fair though, she was alone in her own house. Its not like it was a public place.
Something like this happened to me once. When I woke up everything in my house had been taken and replaced with an exact replica.

My did bought a 3 story vacation house for himself after working several years as a geneticist. Mind me, the house is too large for a family of two ( it used to be three, before my mom died). I told my dad many times that the house is too big for one person!😭😢😭

This is why you do not wear both headphones especially when in public places. Male or female - you have to be alert and aware of your surroundings.These days I push past people who cannot hear me to move over aside in the trains when i need to go out- I DONT care if you didn't hear me due to your headphones.

Man this be one of my worst nightmares! I be checking the doors twice..even 3 times if i need to. Ain't noway i'm ever forgetting to lock one! I be getting security cameras on every angle...and sound alarm system, so noone can get close to my house!
I already have that stuff so I stay home alone all the time and I hear knocking but I know it's just one of my friends just trying to prank me

This is one my greatest fears. I have had nightmares of people breaking into my house. I check all the doors twice before I go to sleep so that something like this won't ever happen. I woke up one morning to see the kitchen patio door open about an inch. The only reason they didn't get inside was cus I put a piece of wood in both sliding doors jam so it won't open up. I started shaking when I saw what had happen. My husband went out and bought dead bolt locks for both our patios doors.
Once when I was 13 my sis and I shared a bedroom in the back of our house which had windows on 2 sides. I woke to someone pulling me down my bed and out the window at the foot of my bed. I reached up and grabbed the rails on my headboard. It was like some horrible tug a war. I screamed for my Mom to come help me. She ran in and screamed she called the police. It must have scared them cus they ran away.

Since I was a young girl I've always slept with aknife or a hatchet... Now I'm protected by my dogs and aknife or a hatchet 😆......we lived in some crappy places when I was young mum was alone with 2 kids to take care of but those days were better than these because then people weren't evil like now,neibors looked out for one another and the world was a safer place... But I was always thinking about being prepared for the unexpected and it's stuck with me......
