    Very well explained Andrew! Management of VTE can be confusing at the best of times in relation to length and dose of anticoagulation - I like the way you explained Phenotype>Genotype. Keep up the amazing videos.

      I don't know of a direct causative link between Diabetes and DVTs. There would definitely be associations as patients with poorly controlled diabetes are more prone to acute illness/infections which can predispose DVT/PE. Likewise, diabetes is frequently associated with obesity which is a risk factor for DVT/PE

      it took me weeks trying to link it. even atherosclerosis. but most studies suggest for further research to correlate them…
