I for one LOVED the season. Great acting, dialogue, tension, and intrigue. A dragon fest would basically be over in too episodes.
Anyone who defends this season is either a paid shill or just stupid and can enjoy anything , even a dog take a crap on the streets would be entertaining for them 😂😂
I loved this season and the finale. It was interesting world building, character building and the battle lines being drawn. I thought Emma D'Arcy was phenomenal as Rhaenyra and Tom Carney was equally fantastic as Aegon. I think S3 is going to be peak HotD!
The prediction that Helaena made was about her bug that will stop singing...I think Daeron is the only one mentioned who likes music(lute). Maybe predicting he will die soon or maybe just stop singing because he loses his joy from a dragon war like Criston.
That would be my guess.

Glad you guys enjoyed this episode i however thought it was a mix bag.
So many terrible moments throughout this episode. So through all of daemon haunting he still wants the throne n the army for himself it aint until a witch gives him a vision then he is suddenly team rhaenyra……
Helena suddenly has control of her visions and can see ur brothers death but she cant see her own sons death….what?
I refuse to believe this is the same alicent from season1 she genially is ok with rhaenyra killing her kids n still wants peace with her after daemon killed her grandson…..not to mention she gives away what aemond is planning so she is effectively giving a cheat code in the show….when in the book daemon was the one to secure kings landing through cunning….. a very mix episode for a very mixed season……
Team Green is still winning the war and finally the blacks are assembling their armies. I did love the criston cole and the alyn of hull scene.

what a lackluster finale, decent episode but disappointed on the execution
It was supposed to be episode 8, not the finale. Hence the montage at the end.
Budget was cut a bit and they couldn't afford to do another episode. So the season ended up being 8 episodes instead of 10, that's why it feels more like a Penultimate.
