I have a cat who will pick 4-6 pieces of dry cat food, hold them in her mouth, jump up on the bed and empty them out and then eat them, she’s an adorable baby. 💚💚
🐕🐈⬛My Australian Terrier would do that, too. She'd drop a mouthful of kibble next to her bowl, then eat it one piece at a time. I rescued her from backyard breeders... her teeth (among other things) were quite wonky from inbreeding 😾😿 (But she was a happy, spoiled girl for over a dozen years 👍😻👍)

My cat Rosemary (an old sage) female has her own unique way of eating wet food or tuna when put in her dish. She takes her paw, scoops out what she wants and licks it off her paw, she is so adoreably cute when she does that. I did have a few others that ate like that too, mostly female cats, but did have one male that did it too. Sadly, all, except Rosemary have gone on to Rainbow Bridge, but we still have 17 cats/kittens, we lost 3 kittens(4 weeks old) and 1 older kitten(4-5 months old) along with 3 other older 😊(sage)cats just over the past few weeks.😢 Started losing our older cats at the end of June 2023, and the younger ones near the end of July, mostly due to illness or old age.😿😿😿😿😿😿😿

We had 9 but a raccoon got into the greenhouse with them so we have 6 & 1 mad bengal/maine coon mix feral rescue who has taken personal offense. He is absolutely convinced the chickens are HIS babies & won't leave the greenhouse now. We get so many pets dumped out here. I even have signs up that say we're a rescue with the number to call after hours but if I had a dollar for every cornfield in illinois I've slugged through in January to get a lizard or some other critter a college kid thought was cool I wouldn't be considering changing our status to take donations.
