I love Antony's shiftiness and trickery in close/tight spaces. Raphinha is more direct. His ball control is so good that he can always be moving forward.
Both players seem unique in their dribbling styles. Antony seems to have more skills in his locker. He is a bit more like douglas costa since his trickery requires a large amount of speed and physicality to pull it off. Rafinha is more like mahrez but with more speed. Its hard to compare them now cause Dutch league isnt the most competitive, while leeds is a small team so expectations and pressure arent high for players. we just have to watch how they perform in bigger leagues or bigger clubs.
leeds aren’t exactly small the problem is they always have their best players out injured, they are a project team, at the moment they have 5 very good players but the problem is the rest of the team is very average or bad, i think with another 3 key players they can return to europe

Anthony has some fantastic all skills. He looks to be a dancer on the field. From the video, he seems to need to get close to the goal to score or make the killer pass to his team mate.
Raphinha is more simple in his ball skills, but seems to have anticipation which allows him to unbalance defenders. He managed to make several defenders sit on the grass, before he went past them. He's very clever at seeing the patterns of close in movement, and somehow wriggling between two or three defenders.
His vision for finding his own players with long passes is amazing.
He has an incredible ability to score goals from the edge of the goal area.
I think I would prefer Raphinha in my team, but Anthony is still young, and with the right coaching, could possibly become a better winger than Raphinha.
It's maturity in Raphina's game. But it looks like Anthony is better in tight spaces.

Quanto ao Antony e Vinicius eram bolas cantadas. Questão de tempo. No caso do Vini de fato houve uma pressão, mas imagino que o Tite até então tinha uma insegurança com ele o que é normal pelo fato dele vir a se firmar agora nessa temporada. I think the difference here is just the maturity in game play, Anthony is a magician on the pitch, while the Raphinha’s got the experience to make runs then kill it off. Raphinha seem like a calm player on the ball, has great anticipation which helps him make better final ball decisions. I love the maturity in his game play. Also because he’s experienced the pace of game play in the premier league, he can fit in any team compare to Anthony who might still need a year or 2 to adapt into any side. Both are great players though, Raphinha is just better.

Já o Antony é aquele jogador perfeito pra um jogo mais truncado, podendo quebrar a marcação com um drible ou um gol de fora da área. Enfim, acredito que ambos podem jogar de titular, mas acho que vai depender do adversário.

Both players got good skills in their arsenal but I'd go with Raphinha any day, because in as much as the game "football" is concern and no matter how beautiful it's being played the end product is why we see any game and Raphinha is a mixture of all these, guy's just too direct and business minded player while Anthony is good but the showboating is much in his game.

Both super talented, but good for different game strategy. Raphinha is the guy have when the team bet on counter-attacks. Antony is the one to choose when the team play with ball possesion. I prefer to play with Antony, which also has speed, good pass, good cross and make a lot assists and goal chances.

Both are wonderful with differant skills but do the same job. can play with any team. I wish that Tite finds a way to play both together instead of leaving one on the bench. with Vinisius and Neymar. It would be difficult to stop when all of them play together. The right coach can exploit this front line power. and having the best goal keapers and great diffenters. Thiago, Marqinius, Militao and a lot. with the Wonderful central midfielders. Fabinho, Casemiro, Bruno and Fred. and Midfielders the likes of Arthur, Paqueta, Filipe Anderson, Coutinho and great left and right backs. Arana, Telles, Emerson, Danillo. WHAT A TALENTED TEAM. They just need Klopp, Ancelotti, Guardiola or Zico.
Indeed they may need a brilliant strategist like Klopp or Guardiola. (I'm not sure about Zico). But with the tactical evolution of the game, I'm not sure fielding all these 4 guys together would be ideal. Forwards now are involved in defensive duties and none of them (perhaps except Raphinha) fill that role. Brazil needs a right balance but a thick midfield is key to winning World Cup battles.

Raphina has the passing range and is more proven at the higher level , where as Anthony strength is dribbling and close control in 1 v1 situations is very good . All in all they both really good players as a man untd player I would of wanted raphina how ever Antony is classy to it’s all good

@ARNAB BHATTACHARUA. A 3 man defence line would be interesting. But defenders would be required to be quick and mobile especially when up against counterattacking situations. I believe Silva would be a weak link in that scheme being more comfortable in a 4-4-2.
I like the 3-4-3 idea but with the back line of Militao, Thiago Silva (as the center of the trio, dropping back further since hes not as mobile) and Marquinhos.
The midfield would be Casemiro, Fabinho (way better than Fred), Paqueta and Neymar - if the game is too truncated take Fabinho out, drop Paqueta in the second defensive midfield position as he can play that but do it so with more creation - and then add Coutinho or Antony coming in for more firepower
And the forward 3-line composed of Viny Jr, Richarlison (as a real bonafide 9) and Raphinha - again if the game calls for more dribbling instead of Raphinha’s speed Tite can switch the 2.

But i do like the 3-4-3 because unlike previous eras - Cafu/Roberto Carlos, Marcelo/Dani Alves - Brazil does not have true great Right and Left backs that can perform at the level required to play for Brazil; a squad that always demands its LR and RB to play the entire field with exceptional defense and attacking skills. So instead of choosing the best amongst a bad crop - Arana is great at supporting the attack but lacks in defensive skills - Brazil would defend with the best back line in the world as their 3 defenders are all top10 in their position.

Yh i agree but ajax usually get knocked out early so he plays about 5 good teams then goes back to eredevise, where there is bout 2 half decent teams. Raphinha bar from 2 or 3 teams always play against world class opposition. In this highlight reel i think i saw antony do some good skill against about 3 or 4 good teams and they were dortmund etc who even then arent grear. I saw raphinha doing it against liverpool, chelsea, man city a lot, arsenal etc

@@benpatterson2357 EPL isn't the only benchmark mate and I bet a lot of people didn't rate Raphinha while he was at Sporting. I bet a lot of people would have taken Harvey Barnes over Raphinha at the time simply because Barnes was in the EPL. The irony is so many greats haven't even played EPL but you lot scoff at players who don't play there. Antony has been doing well in the UCL and you cannot shift the goalposts to make an argument for EPL. Let's not forget the size and magnitude of a club like Ajax, not everyone makes it in these big sides.

One of these players needs to come United. Both are talented RWs but I'd prefer Raphinha if i had the option. Seems like he has more end product to his game and more direct/aggressive going forward which suits the Prem more. Anthony is very good and skillfull but will have to adapt his game if he wants to be a top player in the prem. But I have faith in ETH to make the right decision and would welcome both.

Antony is young, good dribbler, work rate less, from relatively less difficult league….but, Raphinha has insane drilling abilities, very fast acceleration, from most difficult league, from leeds united which struggled for survival, still he managed to perform super for his side…whoever gets him will be a real winner…he is only 25 yrs (very similar to Riad Mahez)
