Whil i am happy they added Bluetooth, it seems to be a bitmof a half attempt. Not being able to monitor the audio is a huge miss and then the fact that almosy every Bluetooth microphone ive heard sounds pretty awful. There was a chance here to change things up, but this seems to be a miss to me. As of right now. If an amazing Bluetooth microphone comes out that works well, then i may consider it.

GoPro 12 and Schuberth SC2 (Sena 50s). It works but can’t listen music from phone. Even if i pair as second mobile phone. It looks like its playing the music but no sound. Can also not switch to phone. And when I connect to my passenger’s Sena, connection fails or can not connect again to GoPro after ending intercom conversation. Do you have any idea?

is there a microphone set like rode go 2 out there, where the receiver could be connected via Bluetooth? But the mics itself connect to the receiver in the normal way? In this way you could have multiple mics and dont need this bumbee receiver on your USB-C on Gopro or Action 4.
It might be the best solution for people who record motorcycle footage. A wireless mic inside the helmet avoiding the wind noise so you can talk and be heard and the internal mic recording the bike's sound outside. I'll test.
Just a thought you think the media mod would work with something like the saramonic sr-ax100 it would give audio meter on the media mod plus be able to adjust from the back or front depending on how it's mounted.

1:16 It worked for me. I used a Soundcore Life Dot 2 and i could hear the audio through my earpiece. Have to try bluetooth microphone without any audio receiver. Should help in my kind of content on city traffic rides and action mode with lots of headwinds.

The airpods sound muffled and does not seem to work any better than any other pair of bluetooth earbuds. The second pair of earbuds you demoed sound way better. However, I wonder if the wind and noise reduction make a difference.
Just look how shit my audio is on my videos. When i upgrade to this im looking to get a mount at the back of my bike where air does not flow to that part and mount a bracket for a bluetooth microphone just to hear the exhaust. For us people who record on a motorbike but cba to use an external mic and sync it up in davinci this is a solution for us lazy shits xD
How about a firmware update for the 11 that brings this feature. It's insane this hasn't been a normal feature in any gopro. I'm about to go dji cuz I'm tired of missing features then they come out with a new gopro just to add features u should have already had available.

The internal mic sounds so much better than the bluetooth mics. GoPro really needs to do something about that audio quality.
It's the mic quality instead of the GoPro. When it's done with a DJI mic its crystal clear

How many glitches, crashes, shutdowns, corrupted files or files with no Audio do you get when using BT mics?

Hi did you test "quick capture"on the Gopro 12. My gopro 12 doesn't want to, pair using the quick capture option.
My Hero 12 arrives today. I have numerous wireless earbuds including EarPods. It will be interesting to test while riding motorcycles.

I've repeatedly tried to pair my wireless lavalier mic to the new hero12 and it will NOT find it, in pairing mode. Super frustrated.

have you tried davinci resolve? I dont own a hero 12 but im curious to see if Davinci Resolve works.
