I'm speechless! Many, many years ago while waiting in a hospital smoking room, this Jewish man said to me, if you want a good life read Proverbs, but I hadn't seen the light at that stage and didn't, but thank you Lord that I have seen the light and each time I listen to JD I gain further insight into Your Word Lord. And to PertNear, no he's also preaching to the South African government! Thank you JD, God bless you.

So much KEY a wisdom in this sermon
Thank you JD for such a rich presentation (as always). What never seems to amaze me is how true 2 Timothy 3:16 is. But more so that a simple verse on its own can lead to an such an indepth fountain of knowledge and loving instruction. I thank the Lord for leading us here and I pray that we continually medidate on his Word and apply It to our lives.

Jesus Christ has overcame the world so we are 'overcomers'...we have liberty no matter how severe our situations seem...because of what took place at the Cross, I am a living testimony of the victory accomplished through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. It's been in remission for about 6 years. But its back in her brain. Same place she had it operated on. We need a Miracle. Thank you so much. And God Bless you

Sometimes I just have to voice it out loud. I am terrified for my children. It becomes consuming at times. I suppose when we are gone we probably won’t have that same concept as to those possibly left. We may not even be aware. I pray fervently that they won’t. But I’m terrified. I’ve said it- now I can carry on another day. Thank you dearly for your ministry.

First
I used a wooden spoon to discipline my children when they were growing up. Once, it broke on my oldest son's rear end. Those two boys took the money they had saved up and went to a garage sale down the road, and with their own money, bought me a new, well seasoned hardwood one... they knew I'd use it, but they also knew, never in anger, and always because they'd earned it. That was twenty years ago and I still have the very one my boys bought for their own butts... And all the grandchildren respect the spoon- and the Gramma they know wields it with love.
My mother would take pride and pleasure in breaking wooden spoons across my bottom... 30+ years later she enjoys telling me that she broke so many she lost count and laughs ... the good thing that came out of it was teaching me how not to treat others
It's hard to imagine that in heaven we will not sweat when working our garden? Maybe we just don't get tired? Or maybe strained muscles are a joy in heaven? What do YOU think?
tommax26, I guess plants need little attention and just produce its best with no sweat. Had a friend grandson, went to heaven when he was 9years old. I asked him about the flowers and he said the flowers are so vibrant and alive and it can sing.

josh lausch, Even if the righteous falls 7 times, the Lord will still lift Him up. Never too late because only God can make bad into good for you, if you repent. We are make righteous by the blood of Jesus, not of our own works.
